前言

據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì),全球有超過40%的人在學(xué)習(xí)和使用英語;超過85%的科技資料(如書籍、期刊、

Duringtheearly19thcenturyindustrialrevolution,machinetoolsweredevelopedin

England,Germany,andScotland.Thisallowedmechanicalengineeringtodevelopasa

separatefieldwithinengineering.Theybroughtmanufacturingmachinesandtheenginesto

powerthem.ThefirstBritishprofessionalsocietyofmechanicalengineersInstitutionof

MechanicalEngineerswasformedin1847;thirtyyearsafterthecivilengineersformedthe

firstsuchprofessionalsocietyInstitutionofCivilEngineers.OntheEuropeancontinent,

JohannvonZimmermann(1820-1901)foundedthefirstfactoryforgrindingmachinesin

Chemnitz,Germanyin1848.

IntheUnitedStates,theAmericanSocietyofMechanicalEngineers(ASME)was

formedin1880,becomingthethirdsuchprofessionalengineeringsociety,aftertheAmerican

SocietyofCivilEngineersin1852andtheAmericanInstituteofMiningEngineersin1871.

ThefirstschoolsintheUnitedStatestoofferanengineeringeducationweretheUnitedStates

MilitaryAcademyin1817,aninstitutionnowknownasNorwichUniversityin1819,and

systemandadvancedmanufacturingmode.Thedisciplinecombinesthelatestdevelopment

ofrelateddisciplines,makingmanufacturingtechnology,manufacturingsystemsand

Mechanicalandelectronicengineering,commonlyknownasmechatronics,isakindof

mechanicalengineeringandautomation.Themajorsofmechanicalandelectronic

engineeringincludebasictheoreticalknowledgeandmechanicaldesignandmanufacturing

technology.Inthestudyofsuperfinechemicalmechanicalpolishingonthesurfaceofthe

computerharddisk,thebehaviormechanismofsuperfinesurfacenanoparticleswasput

forward.Theequilibriumlawofchemicalandmechanicalactionwasfound,andanew

Tribologytechnologyandadvancedpolishingprocessofthesuperfinishingsurfaceoftheharddisk

substratewereexplored.Theroughnessofthesurfacewaveafterpolishingwerelowerthan

thatofnanoscale.Combinedwiththestudyofwheel-railinteractioninhighspeedrailway,

SouthwestJiaotongUniversityreproducedthewheel-railcorrugationforthefirsttime,and

analyzedtheformationmechanismofwheel-railcorrugationfromthetheoryandtest.

YanshanUniversity,ShanghaiJiaotongUniversity,etc.,putforwardauniversalmethod

andthegeneralformulaforcalculatingthedegreeoffreedomoflessfreedomandparallel

structure,andthetheoryofprincipalhelixanalyticrecognitionmodelwiththehelixtheory,

mechatronicsystemsarefrontierresearchfieldsofmechanicaldynamics.Northeastern

Universityhasproposedtheoryofprobabilityandscreenwithconstantbedthickness,

vibrationsynchronizationandcontrolsynchronizationtheory,andhasdesigneddozensof

engineeringvibrationmachines.NanjingUniversityofAeronautics&Astronauticsproposed

acontrolsystemdynamicswithtimedelay,abifurcationmechanismandcontrolmethodof

thevibrationcontrolsystemwithelasticconstraints,aswellasmodelingandcontrolmethod

ofthehysteresisdampingvibrationcontrolsystem.Americancontrolexpertsevaluatethe

systemas“arefreshingsystemmethod”.Acouplingdynamicsmodeloflocomotivevehicle

andtracksystemhasbeendevelopedbySouthwestJiaotongUniversity,andthedynamic

simulationsystemoflocomotivevehicleandtrackcouplingdynamicsandtheevaluation

systemofsafetyfieldtestaredeveloped.

UltrasonicMotorResearchCenterofNanjingUniversityofAeronautics&Astronautics

hasputforwardtheoryanddesignmethodofmovementmechanism,electromechanical

couplingmodel,driveandcontroltechnologyforanewultrasonicmotor.Moreover,ithas

inventeddozensofultrasonicmotorsanddriverswithuniquetravelingwaveandstanding

wave.Inthehigh-speedandultra-precisionmotioncontrolresearch,HuazhongUniversityof

ScienceandTechnologyfoundandclarifiedthemechanismofthecyclonicphenomenaofair

bearings.ChongqingUniversityinventedawater-lubricatedrubberalloybearingwiththe

1.3.5BiomimeticMachineryandBiologicalManufacturing

JilinUniversityhasmadeimportantprogressintheresearchofbionicflexibledynamic

dragreductionandbiomimeticelectroosmoticdesorptiontheory.Ithascreatedanddeveloped

amechanicalbionicsdisciplineandinventedaseriesofgroundmechanicaldesorptionand

dragreductionbionicstechnology,andsuccessfullyappliedittoagriculturalmachineryand

Biomimetic

machinerynationaldefenseengineering.Inthestudyofartificialbonebiomimeticmanufacturing,Xi’an

andbiologicalJiaotongUniversityestablishedamodelofbonetissue,proposedacompositestructurerepair

manufacturingmethodofbonedefect,andmadethestructuralframeofartificialbonebyrapidprototyping,

andsucceededinrepairingthebonedefectoftheanimal.

1.3.6AdvancedElectronicManufacturing

CentralSouthUniversityhasputforwardaconceptof“extrememanufacturing”.The

researchonthekeyscientificproblemsinharddiskdriveandchipmanufacturingiscarried

outbyShanghaiJiaotongUniversityandTsinghuaUniversity.Asingleabrasivegrinding

methodwithcontrollablenanoscratchdepthandlengthisproposed.Acriticaldepthmodelof

thegrindingwheelinself-rotatinggrindingofsiliconwaferhasbeenestablishedtorevealthe

widefrequencyofthehighaccelerationmotionsystem.Thedesigntheoryandcontrol

methodofhighacceleration,highprecisionandhighreliabilityprecisiondrivingplatformare

putforward.Therapiddiffusionmechanismofatomsatultrasonicbondinginterfaceis

clarified,the“stick-slip”motioncharacteristicofbondinginterfaceisdiscovered,andthe

variableparameterloadingprocessisputforward.

1.3.7DigitalManufacturing

Anewmethodofgeometricreasoningbasedonvisualconeandtheunified

discriminationofthecontourerrorofcomplexsurfaceshavebeenputforwardbyHuazhong

UniversityofScienceandTechnology.Thesoftwaresystemofdigitalmodelingand
