However,Idon'tagreewiththem.Here,I'dliketosayafewwordsonhowIpracticemyspoken

English.

Inthefirstplace,1alwaysmakeapointofbuildingalargevocabulary.IwillseetoitthatI

memorizeallthenewwordsandexpressionsthatappearinmytextbooksandthosethatIcome

acrosselsewhere.Moreover,ItakegreatpainstomakeuseofthemwhenIpracticespeaking.

Secondly,andthemostimportantofall,Iwillnotwaitforachancetospeakthelanguage;Ilook

forsuchachanceactively.WhenaquestionisaskedinanEnglishclass,Iwillbeamongthose

fewstudentswhoraisetheirhandsandsometimeIwilljustspeakoutmyideasdirectly.IfIcome

acrossanativespeaker,Iwillmanagetostartafriendlyconversation.Lastbutnotleast,Ialso

Whateveronedoes,oneshoulddoitwithconfidence.Ifonehasnoconfidence,thereislittle

possibilitythatonewouldeverachieveanything,especiallywhenoneisfacedwithdrawbacksor

hardships.Thistruthseemstobeself-evident.However,inrealitywedoseealotofpeoplewho

complainthattheylacktheabilitytodosomethingorthattheirdifficultiesaretoogreatto

Somepeoplethinkthatintelligenceisthemostimportantthingforsuccess.Theysaythatall

ofthescientistsandexpertsoftheworldaregeniuseswhomadealltheinventions.Allofthe

capablepeopleandthesocialeliteareofsuperiorintelligence.

Someotherpeopletakedifferentviewpoints.Theybelievethatnotintelligencebutdiligence

isofgreaterimportancetoone'ssuccess.Accordingtotheirviewpoints,manyorthemajorityof

Inmyopinionbothintelligenceanddiligenceareimportanttosuccess.Withoutintelligence

diligenceevenifyouareextremelyclever,mostprobablyyouwillstillbeagood-for-nothing.

Somepeoplesaythatfate,whichisbeyondman'spowerofcontrol,decideswhetheryouwill
