英語(yǔ)作文開頭包括寫信人地址和寫信日期，通常寫在信箋的右上角。在比較熟識(shí)的朋友之間的通信，寫信人的地址常可略去。本課的`信頭就只寫了寫信日期，而沒有寫信人的地址。日期通常有下列兩種定法：

(1)月、日、年：如August15,20xx

(2)日、月、年：如15thaugust,20xx

地址的寫法通常是由小到大，日期寫在地址的下方(見信箋格式)。
