andhavepropertagging5.0DesignandErectionRequirementsWhilescaffoldisbeingerectedordismantled,ared
“DangerKeepOff”scaffoldtagmustbeinstalledandvisibleatalltimes.Donot
UseonaredtagscaffoldforanyreasonAstairwayorladderisrequiredatallaccesspointsusedbyworkerswherethereisabreakinelevationof0.5mormoreisprovided.Fallprotectionisrequiredifscaffold
presentsa1mormorefallhazard.5.1GeneralRequirementsAllscaffoldserectedshallcomplywithapplicableregulationsundersupervisionofcompetentpersonAllscaffoldsareerected,modified,anddismantledbyqualifiedindividuals—noexceptions!Asmuchaspossible/practical,scaffoldsmusthave:1.2m)guardrails,0.6m)midrails,andtoeboardsonall opensidesAccessladderthatextendsatleast1`maboveplatformToeboardsbetweenmidrailmustbeinstallwhereemployeesmighttravelbelowscaffold5.0DesignandErectionRequirements
