在復(fù)合句中,修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語從句。

知識梳理:提綱挈領(lǐng),抓住重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)!

定語從句所修飾的詞叫先行詞。定語從句放在先行詞后面。定語從句

分為限定性定語從句和非限定性定語從句。本章只介紹限定性定語從句。引

導(dǎo)定語從句的詞有關(guān)系代詞that、which、who、which、whose和關(guān)系

副詞where、when,關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞是引導(dǎo)詞,在定語從句中擔(dān)當(dāng)

某一成份。

關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞的作用:

先行詞指物時,關(guān)系代詞用that或which(在句中作主語或賓語X

如:Chinaisacountrywhich/thathasalargepopulation.

Thecomputergamewhich/thatheisplayingishisfavorite.

先行詞指人時,關(guān)系代詞用(wh。)作主語或賓語,whom(作賓語),

whose(作定語),that(作主語或賓語)。如:

Themanwhoismendingthemachinehasbeenretired.

Thisisthepolicemanwho/whomtheyweretalkingabout

yesterday.

Ilikethegirlwhosemotherisanactor.

注意:下列情況下關(guān)系代詞只用而不用或

先行詞是指物的不代詞,如:all,little,few,much,none,anything,

nothing,everything等時。如:Ididn'tunderstandthewordsallthathe

said.

2.先行詞由最高級、序數(shù)詞以及any,very,only,all,nojust等所

修飾。如:ThisisthemostbeautifulplacethatIhavebeento.

行詞既包括人,也包括物。如:Theyalwaysliketotalkabouttheman

andthethingsthattheyseeontheroad.

當(dāng)主句是以which或who開頭的特殊疑問句時。如:whoistheman

—否定句

改寫否定句時我們遵循"有情態(tài)動詞和be動詞時,在情態(tài)動詞和be動

詞后直接加not,沒有情態(tài)動詞和be動詞時,加入相應(yīng)助動詞的否定態(tài)

并將謂語動詞還原”的規(guī)則。
