So writing plays an impo
3、rtant part in the English teaching .So thislessonisinthe importantpositionofthe teachingmaterial.IftheSscanlearnitwell,itwillbehelpfultomaketheSslearnto write this type of composition. Accordingtothenewstandard curriculumandthesyllabus(新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和教學(xué)大綱), Ithinkthe learningaimsarethefollowings:1.Knowledgeo
4、bjects:(1)TheSscangrasp some words and phrases about the names of places.(2)TheSscanlearn some useful patterns.(3)TheSscanusethepatternstoexpressand write a composition about a place.2. Abilityobjects:(1)TodeveloptheSsabilitiesof writing.(2)TotraintheSsabilityofworkinginpairs.3.Emotionormoralobjects

7、.Part2TeachingMethods:Inmyopinion,themaininstructionalaimsoflearningEnglishinthe MiddleSchoolistodevelopthestudentsabilitiesoflistening, speaking,reading,writingandtheirgoodsenseoftheEnglish language.Soin thislessonIllmainlyuse“Communicative”activityand“Task-based”activities. Atthesametime,Illmakeus
8、eofthe modernelectricity teachingequipmentsandallkindsofteaching means,itcandevelop theSswriting abilityinlearningEnglish.Part3StudyingMethods:As we know , our school students arent good at English ,especially writing compositions .So I will use “ Observation- Imitation - Practice” .Using the three
9、methods teach the Ss how to write a composition about places .Part4TeachingProcedure:Step1Lead-in.1.At first ,give Ss a familiar topic to speak-introduce our school ,including the schools position ,area, population ,history, its surroundings and so on .2.Then let Ss fill in the blanks using proper w

Then ask Ss to introduce our city- ZhongMu in pairs.Step4Furtherpractice Give Ss a topic , let Ss write an introductive article about a place of interest they visited before .
