One of the pots was perfectly made and never leaked. The other pot had a crack in it and by the time the water bearer reached his masters house it had leaked much of its water and was only half full. 有個(gè)挑水的印度人，在他肩頭挑著的竹竿兩頭各掛著一個(gè)大水罐。其中一只水罐里面出現(xiàn)了裂縫，每天從水源回到主人家時(shí)，水罐中只剩下一半水了。另一只水罐完好無損，每次總能運(yùn)送滿滿一罐水。For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his masters house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream.
