Unit 7 Its raining.Period 1北海市第一中學(xué) 陳妍1、 課題: Unit 7 Section A 1a-2c2、 教材依據(jù)人教版英語七年級下Unit 7 Its .3、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析及設(shè)計思路 本單元的中心話題是談?wù)撎鞖猓?a-2c是一個簡單的聽說,是Unit7的基礎(chǔ)。這一節(jié)課主要分為五大版塊完成教學(xué)任務(wù)。一是學(xué)習(xí)描述天氣狀況的形容詞。二是引出詢問天氣的重要句式Hows the weather? / Whats the weather like。三是學(xué)習(xí)世界五大城市的英文表達(dá),并幫助學(xué)生將城市和當(dāng)?shù)氐奶鞖馇闆r對應(yīng)。四是將前面兩關(guān)的知識融合在一起,完成貼近生活的電話通話。最后通過唱英文歌曲,鞏固所學(xué)單詞及句型,并展示霧霾城市的圖片,告知學(xué)生保護環(huán)境的重要性,呼吁學(xué)生保護環(huán)境,升華了課堂。4、 教學(xué)目標(biāo) (一)語言知識目標(biāo)1. 重點詞匯:rainy, windy, cloudy, snowy, sunny, weather, cook, bad, park, message, could, back, problem2. 重點句型: -Hows the weather?/ Whats the weather like? -Its sunny/ rainy/ windy/ cloudy/snowy.3. 語法:名詞sun,rain,cloud,wind,snow變?yōu)樾稳菰~的規(guī)則,及用法。 (二)語言技能目標(biāo)聽:能根據(jù)錄音把所聽到的天氣狀況與相應(yīng)的城市進行匹配,并能聽懂電話交談。說:能用所學(xué)句型詢問別人天氣狀況,并能結(jié)合電話用語使用。讀:能朗讀1b及2b部分的對話。寫:學(xué)會運用所學(xué)單詞和句型書寫天氣狀況。 (三)情感目標(biāo)1. 教育學(xué)生善于觀察天氣,了解世界各地的天氣情況,增加世界觀念。2. 通過學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生了解惡劣氣候?qū)ξ覀兩畹挠绊懀鰪妼W(xué)生的環(huán)保意識。3. 通過實踐,讓學(xué)生體驗學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣,并在小組活動中培養(yǎng)合作精神。5、 教學(xué)重、難點1. 教學(xué)重點(1) Key vocabulary:rainy,windy,cloudy,snowy,sunny,weather,cook,bad,park,message,could,back, problem(2)Key sentences:A:-Hows the weather?/ Whats the weather like? -Its sunny/raining/snowy/cloudy/windy.2. 教學(xué)難點(1) 掌握重點單詞。(2) 掌握如何詢問天氣狀況。(3) 名詞sun,rain,cloud,wind,snow變?yōu)樾稳菰~的規(guī)則,及正確用法。6、 教法與學(xué)法視聽法,任務(wù)型教學(xué)法,情景交際法,自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作學(xué)習(xí)相結(jié)合。運用多媒體(視頻,音頻,圖片等)手段來輔助教學(xué)。7、 教學(xué)步驟Step1 Lead-inT: Good morning, boys and girls. Today we will learn Unit 7 Its raining. Do you watch CCTV news everyday?S: Yes, I do.T: I also watch CCTV news everyday. Because I can get some messages form CCTV news. (Show “message” on the PPT) Read the word follow me.T: After CCTV news, we watch a weather report on TV. (Show a picture of weather report) Read the word follow me. T: Do you care about the weather change?S: Yes, I do.T: Now, lets learn more words of weather.(設(shè)計意圖:通過新聞聯(lián)播、天氣預(yù)報等學(xué)生熟悉的生活場景引起學(xué)生的注意,激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)熱情,使得學(xué)生盡快進入英語學(xué)習(xí)中。)Step2 Presentation (Show a picture of “sun”)T: whats this?S: Its the sun. (Show a icon of “sunny”)T: whats the icons meaning?S: Its a icon of sunny. (Teach “sun, sunny”) (Show a picture of “rain”)T: Look at the picture. How to say it?S: Rain. (Show a icon of “rainy”)T: whats the icons meaning?S: Its a icon of rainy. (Teach “rain, rainy”) Show some pictures of “sun, rain, could, wind, snow, cook, park”. And show some icons of “sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy”. Teach the key words. After that, ask students look at 1a. Match the words with the weather.(設(shè)計意圖:利用直觀美麗的圖片,吸引學(xué)生的注意力,強化學(xué)生對所學(xué)詞匯的直觀記憶力。)Step3 SpeakingT: If you want to know the weather, do you know how to ask the weather?T: You can say Hows the weather? Read the sentence after me.S: Hows the weather?T: And we can also say Whats the weather like? Read the sentence after me.S: Whats the weather like.T: Its+ adj. (Show a picture of “sunny”)T: Hows the weather?S: Its sunny. (Show a picture of “cloudy”)T: Whats the weather like?S: Its cloudy. Ask the students of group1 to ask the question and the students of group3 answer. (Show a picture of “windy”)G1: Hows the weather?G3: Its windy. Ask the students of group4 to ask the question and the students of group2 answer. (Show a picture of “rainy”)G4: Hows the weather?G2: Its rainy. Ask the whole class to ask the question and teacher answer. (Show a picture of “snowy”)S: Hows the weather?T: Its snowy.(設(shè)計意圖:利用老師與學(xué)生、學(xué)生與學(xué)生對話的形式引導(dǎo)學(xué)生開口說英語,提高學(xué)生對單詞、句型的記憶,從而進一步幫助學(xué)生強化記憶詞匯與句型,為接下來的聽力做鋪墊。)Step4 Listening T: There are five cities in 1a. They are Beijing, Moscow, Toronto, Boston and Shanghai. Please read the names of cities after me.T: Now, lets listen and write down the weather of the cities.T: Lets check the answer. (Ask students to answer the questions.) (設(shè)計意圖:通過聽錄音材料,識別并強化所學(xué)單詞,及詢問天氣的句型。)Step5 Speaking (Show a picture of 2a.)T: Look at the pictures and answer :What is heshe doing?T: Look at the first picture. What is he doing?S: He is talking on the phone.T: Youre right. We talk on the phone, we should use “Hello, this is XXX speaking. Whos that?”, right?S: Yes.T: Very good. Now, look at the second picture. Whats she doing?S: She is cooking.T: Good. Look at the third picture. Whats he doing?S: He is also talking on the phone with his friend.T: Look at the next picture. Whats she doing?S: She is watching TV.T: Right. And next picture, whats he doing?S: He is playing the computer games.T: Youre right. Listen and number the pictures (1-4) as you hear them. T: Lets check the answer. Who can tell me the answers? Cindy, can you? C: Yes, I can. The answer is two, three, four and one. T: Youre right, good job.2. T: After that, lets look at 2b. Listen again and fill in the chart below.1. _c_Uncle Joe a. is playing computer games.2. _Jeff b. is cooking.3. _Mary c. is playing basketball.4. _Aunt Sally d. is watching TV. T: Can you finish it? Then give some pictures and ask them to make their own conversations, and help to correct their pronunciation if they make mistakes.
