Section B 1 1a-2e 一、教學目標: 1. 語言知識目標:1) 能掌握以下單詞:creative, performer, talent, common, all kinds of, beautifully, role, winner, prize, everybody, make up, example, for example, poor, seriously, give 2) 能掌握以下句型: Who was the best performer? All these shoes have one thing in common. Thats up to you to decide. But if you dont take these shows too seriously, They usually play a role in deciding the winner. 2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:了解一些選秀節(jié)目的實質及目的,正確對待生活中的一些歌星及影星,不要盲目地追風,做追星族。二、教學重難點1. 教學重點:1) 掌握本課時出現(xiàn)的生詞及表達方式。2) 進行聽力訓練,提高綜合聽說能力。 3)閱讀短文,獲得相關信息,提高學生們的綜合閱讀能力。2. 教學難點1). 聽力訓練2). 閱讀2b部分的短文并完成相關要求。三、教學過程. Warming- up and revision1. Daily greeting. 2. 復習形容詞和副詞最高級形式的構成規(guī)則,并完成相關任務。 3. Talk about the clothes stores or restaurants in your neighborhood. e.g. Blue Moons has the worst clothes. New Fashion has the best quality. Young House has the cheapest clothes. Jennys has the best service. Dannys is the closest to my home. New Star has the most delicious food. Funky Noodles has the best services. Li Dumplings has the cheapest food. Jenny is the funniest in class. Grace is the most hard-working. Jane is the most serious. Linda is the thinnest. Tom jumps the highest. Bob runs the fastest. Nick can play the guitar best.Peter dances the worst. . PresentationNew words: creative performer. Game 1. Work with your partners. You say an adjective and your partner say its opposites in the chart. 2. Ss work in pairs and see who can do better. 3. Ask Ss to work on 1a: write these words and phrases next to their opposites in the chart. 4. Ask Ss to tell their partners about people they know. Use the words in 1a. . Listening Work on 1c: 1. Tell Ss to look at the pictures and the names in 1c. Tell Ss this school had a talent show last weekend. Some Ss and some teachers took part in the talent show. Now listen to the conversation and math the pictures with the performers. 2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and match the pictures with the performers. 3. Check the answers: Work on 1d: 1. T: Now please look at the chart in 1d. What do the people say about the performers? Youll listen to the tape again. Then try to fill in the blanks. 聽力指導:要抓別人對他們每個人的評價所說的詞匯,也就是那些表示評價的形容詞或副詞的最高級形式。因此在聽的時候,應重點放在對人物的表演進行評價的最高級形式上。2. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class. . Group work 1. Work in groups. Look at the information in 1d and make a conversation with your partner. 2. Make a model for the Ss. 3. Tell Ss to make a conversation about all the performers. 4. Teacher can walk around the classroom, and give some help to the Ss. . Presentation 1. Ask them whether they know why the talent shows become famous. 1. Let Ss read the passage quickly and find out “Which three talent shows are mentioned?” 2. Ss read the passage quickly and find the answers to the questions.3. T: Now lets work on 2c. First, lets read the questions and make sure we know the meanings of all the questions. Then read the passage again and find the answers to the questions. 方法指導:首先,應讀懂五個題目的意思;然后,帶著這五個問題再次認真閱讀短文的內(nèi)容,并在短文中找出相關問題的回答依據(jù)。 綜合短文內(nèi)容與題目內(nèi)容,確定最為貼切的答案。Ss read carefully and try to find the answers to the questions. Check the answers with the class. 4. T: Read the passage again. This time you should underline all the superlatives in the passage, then write sentences using at least four of them. 方法指導:首先,在短文中劃出形容詞或副詞的最高級形式;然后,結合自己生活或班級中的人或事物來用這個詞語來造一個自己的句子;最后,與同位交換自己的句子,互相檢查一下。Ss find the superlatives in the passage. Try to write their sentences. .Group work Work on 2e. Ask Ss to add more talents and write a classmates name for each talent. Find out how many students in your group agree with you. . Language points 1. Whos Got Talent? 誰是達人? 此句中whos為who has之縮寫。have got表示“具有;具備”之意,相當于have。此句字面上的意思是“誰有才華?”e.g. Have you got time? Ive got something important to tell you. 你現(xiàn)在有空嗎?我有重要的事要告你。2. Everyone is good at something, but some people are truly talented. everybody pron. 每人;人人;所有人 不定代詞,相當于everyone,作主語時當單數(shù)看,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。3. Thats up to you to decide. be up to由決定;是的職責在英語中,be up to somebody是一個習慣用語,用來表示“由某人做出抉擇”,句子的主語通常為it,有時也用this或that。4. When people watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the winner. 人們看這樣的節(jié)目時,通常要評判出優(yōu)勝者。play a role是一種固定表達,意為“扮演某一角色;起到某種作用”。若要進一步引出具體的內(nèi)容,后面應用介詞in,表示“在某事或某個方面起到作用或承擔某種角色”。e.g. John is playing the leading role in this years play.今年的演出中約翰是主角。Schools play the most important role in education. 學校在教育中起著最為重要的作用。5. However, if you dont take these shows too seriously, they are fun to watch. 但是如果你不把這些節(jié)目太當回事,它們還是有看頭的。 take在此處有consider(認為;覺得)的意思。take someone/something seriously就相當于漢語“認真對待某人或某事;把某人或某事當真”的意思。 e.g. He was joking, but your sister took him seriously. 他是在開玩笑
