(Period 1)湛江一中培才學(xué)校 龔瑜一、教學(xué)目標(biāo) 1. 語言知識(shí)目標(biāo):1) 掌握以下單詞:animal, tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary, friendly, shy, kind, kind of, Australia, Africa, south, South Africa, pet, leg, cat, sleep 2) 掌握以下組詞:kind of, be friendly to, all day3) 掌握以下句型: What animals do you/does she/ does he like? I/He/She like(s) Lets see the Why do you/does she/ does he like? Because they are Where arefrom?Theyre from2. 語言能力目標(biāo):1) 能識(shí)別不同的動(dòng)物并描述其特性;2) 能表達(dá)自己的喜好并說明原因;3) 能描述典型的動(dòng)物的產(chǎn)地。3. 情感態(tài)度目標(biāo):動(dòng)物和人類有著共同的家園地球;動(dòng)物是人類的朋友。我們應(yīng)當(dāng)學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)愛動(dòng)物,保護(hù)動(dòng)物,與動(dòng)物和諧相處,共同生存。二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1) 學(xué)會(huì)描述動(dòng)物的性格及特點(diǎn)。2) 學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)喜歡某類動(dòng)物及說明喜歡的原因。3) 學(xué)會(huì)描述典型的動(dòng)物的產(chǎn)地。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式表示一類事物;謂語動(dòng)詞的第三人稱單數(shù)形式三、教學(xué)輔助手段多媒體、黑板四、教學(xué)過程Teaching stepsName of activity/taskTeachers activitiesStudents activitiesStep-1 Lead-inGuides wanted Show a picture of Xiangjiang Zoo and give the challenges students need to finish to be a good guide.Ss get familiar with the topic about animals and get ready for the challenges they are going to face.Purpose通過爸爸去哪兒了節(jié)目相關(guān)的圖片引入香江動(dòng)物園,并介紹動(dòng)物園需招聘導(dǎo)游,學(xué)生需完成3個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)方能成功。引入自然、簡(jiǎn)明。這個(gè)活動(dòng)激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣和并未接下來需完成的相關(guān)任務(wù)有了一定的心理準(zhǔn)備。Step-2Name the animals 1. Flash some pictures of the animals2. Ask students to match the names with the pictures in 1a. and read the words in groups1. tell the names of the animals2. tell the answers to 1a like “ a is a tiger.”3.students in groups read the words togetherPurpose1. 檢查學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)情況,是否會(huì)讀動(dòng)物的名稱,介紹更多的動(dòng)物給學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)。2. 利用小組合作的形式,以優(yōu)生帶動(dòng)后進(jìn)生,讓每一個(gè)同學(xué)都能讀單詞,并且利用短時(shí)記憶,讓學(xué)生課上對(duì)單詞進(jìn)行鞏固。Step-2Describe the animals 1. Show different pictures of the animals and some description words2. Ask students to practice the conversation like below:A: Do you like pandas?B: Yes, I do. A: Why do you like them?B: Because theyre cute.Or: A: Do you like pandas?B: No, I dont. A: Why dont you like them?B: Because theyre shy.1. Learn and try to use the description words to describe the animals.2. Practice with partners telling the reasons why they like a certain animal.Purpose運(yùn)用對(duì)話的方式來訓(xùn)練學(xué)生使用形容詞來描述動(dòng)物的能力。Step-3Talk about where the animals are from 1. Show a map of the world and ask students to find places such as China, Thailand, Africa, Australia and South Africa.2. Ask students where are some animals are from.1. Learn some places in the world that are famous for a certain animals.2. Learn how to ask where some animals are from.Purpose運(yùn)用真實(shí)的的世界地圖給學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)真實(shí)的生活情境,豐富學(xué)生文化知識(shí),讓其結(jié)合地理了解世界各地常見的動(dòng)物。Step-3Listening practice 1.Play the recording of 2a &2b2.Ask students C to do some pairwork by using 2a and students A &B to make new conversations.1. Listen, write and match the animals with the description words and the countries where they are from.2. Students with different levels practice differently.Purpose分層次布置任務(wù)體現(xiàn)了分層次教學(xué)的基本原則,讓不同層次的學(xué)生接受不同的任務(wù),使各自的能力得到相應(yīng)的鍛煉和提高。Step-4Role-play the conversation in 2d1. Play the recording of 2d, ask two questions:1)What can Dingding do?2)Does Jenny like her moms pet cat? Why? 2. Ask students to read alone to find out the expressions.3. Ask students to role-play the conversation.1.Listen to the recording, and underline the answers to the questions.2. Read alone and find out the expressions.3. C just read fluently; B try to role-play with some expressions covered; A try to role-play without looking at the text.Purpose1. 找出短語之后,利用小組內(nèi)互助的方式保證所有學(xué)生會(huì)讀,會(huì)記。2. 分層次進(jìn)行角色扮演,根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)能力高低,適當(dāng)降低或增大難度,對(duì)各層次學(xué)生來說都是一種挑戰(zhàn),更能激起他們的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)力。Step 5Survey and reportAsk students to survey their group members about 3 questions1. B1 in each group takes notes. Students ask and answer questions one by one. What animal do you like? Why do you like them? Where are they from?2. A&B choose 2 or3 notes to give a report.Purpose以小組形式進(jìn)行調(diào)查并作報(bào)告,分工合作,有記錄員,全員參與調(diào)查,能力強(qiáng)的學(xué)生還能以報(bào)告的方式鍛煉口頭作文。Step 6Summary1. Give a passage with some blanks.2. Review the sentence patternsA: Why do you like pandas?B: Because theyre kind of interesting.A: Where are they from?B: Theyre from China.1. Use the animals and description words to complete a passage.2. review the sentence patterns and read together.Purpose運(yùn)用檢測(cè)的方式來進(jìn)行總結(jié),即運(yùn)用所學(xué)動(dòng)物名稱和描述性形容詞來完成一篇短文,是蠻新穎的一種總結(jié)方式,既做到不枯燥,也能讓學(xué)生將本節(jié)課所學(xué)詞匯以篇章的形式進(jìn)行整理,有助于學(xué)生的記憶和理解。Step-7Emotional stimulus.Use some pictures of dogs to tell students animals are our friends and we should protect them.Learn to take care of animals and make friends with them.Purpose學(xué)習(xí)了許多跟動(dòng)物有關(guān)的英
