In high school, we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college,however, we have to relyexclusively on ourselves. Whats mor
2、e, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life. So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately.Here are some s
3、uggestions.First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus. Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms. Next, try t
4、o be independent. Learn to dosuch things as making sound decisions on how to spendyour time, how to spend your money etc, and washing clotheson your own. Furthermore, form good studyhabits.Talk with your classmates and learn from theirgood habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds ofactivities

Our school regulatiom handbook says no. However, in my opinion, college students shou
7、ld have the right to do so. First and foremost, we should bear in mind the purpose of students attending classes to gain more knowledge and skills. Generally speaking, going to classes is a good and irreplaceable way for students to obtain knowledge. However, sometimes students can benefit more if t
8、hey skip certain classes, for example, when they are not in the right mood for classes at some particular moment, or when do need some sleep that provides them with necessary energy for more important things later that day, or when they have to do something more important at that specific time. That
9、 is to say, when students cannot learn efficiently in classes, why must they attend them? Of course, if students are not familiar with the content of the missed class, they should make up for it. Another reason why college students can skip classes is that some of them deem skipping class as a means
10、 of alternative education.(deem as 耳將看作)Almost all the college students are over 18 and they have formed good senseof judgement to consider what is good and what is bad for themselves. They know for what and for whom they are studying, and they are able to make sensible decision whether to skip a pa
11、rticular class or not. If they can learn better alone with a book in front of them instead of instructor, why should they be compelled to attend the class? The world today witnesses the “knowledge explosion ”. Mountains of useful knowledge and information are waiting for young students to acquire or
12、 master, so they in dire need of effiency in learning. However, students are quite different intellectuallysome are smarter than the others andthey can learn more rapidly. On the other hand, teaching appraoches adopted by teachers are usually based on the level of the average students. The smart stu
13、dents feel the classes no challenge at all and they dont wantto see their time flow away without enough acomplished. So if it is a waste of time for them to go to certain classes, why must they attend them? On all accounts, college students should have the right to skip classes, and are not to blame

21、I can know more about the real world .As having mentioned above , I have been thinking aboutthe ideal life on campus .Some famous people had describe it for all of us ,an ideal campus should be such place for contemplation and inspiration , the enthusiasm for knowledge can get us out of bed early in the morning and stay up late at night.Withpluralistic culture ,we should be changed greatly ,we may found the way we think , the prejudices are challenged ,and in the campus ,we could learn how to learn, I think all these are needed in an ideal campus .
