1、unit 1 living wellperiod 4教材分析本單元以殘疾及殘疾人的生活為話題,介紹了一些殘疾人憑借頑強的毅力和社會的關愛克服生活中的種種困難,以積極的態(tài)度面對人生的挑戰(zhàn)。using language中的reading,speaking and writing部分要求學生先討論行動困難的人在電影院可能會遇到的困難,然后引出alice major寫給the new bankstown cinema的建筑設計師的一封信,在信中她給建筑設計師提出一些建議,請求建筑師充分考慮殘疾人的需求。這封信后有說和寫的練習題,通過不同的語言技能訓練,完成本單元教學目標。通過讀這封建議信,要求學生學會
2、寫建議信。學情分析本單元的話題是圍繞殘疾、殘疾人的生活展開的,在閱讀了殘疾人marty fielding的故事和聆聽了盲人barry minto攀爬m(xù)ount kilimanjaro的故事之后,學生對殘疾人以及他們在生活中會遇到的困難有了一定的了解。在此基礎下,筆者水到渠成地引出此封建議信,增強學生們關心、理解、幫助殘疾人的意識。同時,通過閱讀這封建議信,讓學生熟悉建議信的格式并嘗試寫建議信。教學目標1語言知識目標(1)學生能夠正確讀寫及運用以下單詞:architect,adequate,access,accessible,handy,basement,row,outwards,exit,ap
3、proval,dignity,profit,community (2)學生掌握下列詞組的意思并能在句子中熟練運用:have access to;enjoy the company of;in comfort;meet with ones approval;make profits2語言技能目標:強化學生通過略讀、查讀理清文章脈絡結構的能力;訓練學生運用所學知識就某一話題展開討論,并在討論的基礎上進行寫作。3語言能力目標:提高學生的閱讀理解和書面表達能力。4情感態(tài)度目標:(1)教育健康學生理解、尊重、關心、幫助殘疾人,使殘疾人與健全人一樣共享美好生活。(2)在小組合作互動中,增強學生的團隊合作與
4、分享意識。重點難點1教學重點:閱讀能力、寫作能力的培養(yǎng)和提高2教學難點:掌握建議信這一應用文體的格式,并嘗試寫建議信教學策略與手段在教學過程中,筆者堅持以“教師為主導,學生為主體,任務為基礎”的教學原則,以讀前、讀中、讀后三大版塊展開閱讀教學,任務明確,活動面廣。同時貫徹“教中學,學中用”的教學策略,通過仿寫建議信,使學生學以致用,學到生活中真正的語言。step 1prereadingshow pictures of a cinema,including inside and outside facilities and ask students to discuss what problem
