13、 in the desert.2. 動名詞結(jié)構(gòu)也在句中作主語,表示比較抽象的一般行為,也可以表示一件已知的事或經(jīng)驗。Eg. Driving a car during the rush hour is tiring.注意:it在下列句型中作形式主語代替動名詞。It is no good/use doing sth.Its a waste of time doing sth.二非謂語作賓語。1. 在feel, find, make, think, consider等動詞之后,如果賓語帶有賓語補足語時,人們常常用it作形式賓語,而把真實賓語放在賓語補足語之后。我發(fā)現(xiàn)有可能不用計算機而解決出這道題目。

19、call on, long for, wait for, depend on, rely on等。3. 現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補。能用現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補的動詞有:see, find, discover, look at, observe, notice, watch, hear, listen to, feel, smell, keep, bring, imagine, sense, set等。After he retired, he always went to the park to watch old men playing chess.4. 過去分詞作賓補能用過去分詞作賓補的動詞有have, get

20、, see, hear, find, make, want, feel, keep等。As a new novel writer, he was so glad to see his story published.四非謂語作定語。1. 不定式作定語通常放在其修飾的名詞或代詞之后,和被修飾的名詞或代詞之間是主謂關(guān)系、動賓關(guān)系、同位關(guān)系等。He is always the first person to come and the last one to leave.He broke his promise to write to his parents regularly.2. 現(xiàn)在分詞短語作定

21、語時,通常放在被修飾名詞的后面,相當(dāng)于一個定語從句,表示正在進行或經(jīng)常性的動作或指當(dāng)時的狀態(tài)。例如:You may ask the lady sitting (=who is sitting) at the desk.We must keep a secret of the things being discussed (=things which are being discussed).3. 過去分詞作定語時,通常放在被修飾名詞的后面,相當(dāng)于一個定語從句,表示動作發(fā)生在謂語所表示的動作之前或沒有一定的時間性,且被修飾詞是其邏輯上的承受者。例如:Is there anything plann

22、ed (=anything that has been planned) for tonight?He is a leader loved (=a leader who is loved) by the people.注意:現(xiàn)在分詞完成式不能用作定語修飾名詞。定語從句中謂語動詞的完成式表示完成意義。如:最近我閱讀了托爾斯泰的譯成中文的作品。Recently I have read some of Leo Tolstoys works that have been translated into Chinese.五非謂語作狀語。1. 不定式作狀語可以表示行為的目的、結(jié)果、原因、條件等。To sa

23、ve the child, he laid down his life.注意:有時為了強調(diào)或突出這種目的,也可用in order (not) to do,和so as (not) to do結(jié)構(gòu)(so as to do不可以置于句首)。He shouted and waved in order to be noticed.2. 用分詞作狀語時,其邏輯主語必須與句子的主語保持一致,否則,就應(yīng)使用狀語從句,調(diào)整句子的主語。分詞或分詞短語作狀語時,可以表示時間、原因、結(jié)果、條件、讓步、行為方式、伴隨狀況等。Not knowing her address, I wasnt able to contac
