Play the music to create lively English classroom atmosphere and help Ss keep calm before the bell rings. Then greet to Ss like:T: Hello, boys and girls. Today is a special day, isnt it? We have
4、 many guests visiting our school. Lets stand up and say welcome to them, OK? Ss: Welcome to our school! Welcome to our class! T: Our guests dont know us. But it doesnt matter because we can introduce us and our classmates to them. Do you want to do that ?Ss: Let me try.T: Great! Please introduce you
5、rself and your group! S1: Hello, My names ××. This is my friend, ××. And this is.this is. And this is my English teacher,××2. Present: daughter & son. T shows 3 pictures on TV. Introduce the pictures to the Ss.T: Well done! My boy. You are so good. Im very glad to b

Sum up family members with Ss by adding the words in the box inPart1 at P16. Ask questions about the relationships of family members according to the family tree.

Then play the tape for Ss to listen for a second time. Make sure they know which picture that Dave and Lin Hai are talki
12、ng about. Finally its necessary to enable Ss to read the listening script loudly. Tick out the sentence structures: This is Those are and write them on the Bb.Step3. Practice1. Show some Ss and their relatives pictures on TV. Get the owners to introduce them in class, using the structures like: That

Have Ss watch and listen to the video twice together. Make sure they know every member in Robins family.2. Check t
14、he feedback of Ss watching and listening by matching the pictures with the names and the members in Robins family on their worksheets. 3. Have Ss identify the members in Robins family, using: This/ That isStep5. Consolidation & Production1. Since Ss have well memorized the vocabulary of family m
15、embers and Robins family tree Encourage them to talk about the family in groupwork.2. Have Ss Work in groups to read the family tree and work out the problems presented.
