1、1.whether 和 if 均可用來(lái)引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)從句，但 if 引導(dǎo)的從句不能位于句首。如： Whether they win or lose is all the same to me. 3、間若用 or 字, 則須重復(fù) whether 一字 . ）注: 當(dāng)強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語(yǔ)從句并將其提前時(shí)只能用 whether。如 :Whether I'll have time to go with you I am not sure. 我很難說(shuō)我們是否有時(shí)間跟你們一起去。 從句作介詞賓語(yǔ)時(shí)只用 whether 不用 if。如:She was undecided about whether she should accept his offer她拿不定主意應(yīng)該不應(yīng)該接受他的好意 當(dāng)whether和or not連用時(shí)，只用 whether不用if。當(dāng)or not放在whether引導(dǎo)的從句句尾，則可

4、以 用 if 來(lái)替換。如口 ： I don' t know whether or not he will come我不知道他是不是回來(lái)。I'll be happy whether/if I get the job or not 我能不能得到那份工作都一樣高興 當(dāng)whether和or連用表示明確的選擇時(shí)，只用 whether不用if。如:He asked me whether I wanted to go there by train or by bus.他問(wèn)我是想乘火車還是坐公共汽車去那里。He hesitated about whether he should drive o
