Read and spell the words according to Chinese meanings b. Spell out the words according to its English meanings c. Fill the words in the

Word recombinationTo arouse the students interest in the lesson and help them to build up some confidence, so the task is relatively easy.Step 2Pre-reading 1. Check preview: Ask the students to show their homework before class. It is talking about the

5、 palace in Beijing from 6 parts: Location, features, palaces, history, emperors, and size.2. Prediction: Let the students sum up the interesting things that they want to know about the palace in Beijing. Each group makes three most valuable questions. Try to encourage the students to find the inform

6、ation about the palace, and to encourage them to speak more.Step 3While-reading 1. Skim the text and find out the answers to the questions that they want to know. 2. Scan the text for the specific information a. Scan the text and find the answers to the multiple questions. b. Scan the text and fill
