1、Unit 3 Computers一、教學(xué)對(duì)象分析本節(jié)課的教學(xué)對(duì)象為高一上學(xué)期的學(xué)生,在經(jīng)歷了必修1的學(xué)習(xí)過程之后,學(xué)生已經(jīng)對(duì)高中的英語學(xué)習(xí)有了初步的了解和感知,但仍需要訓(xùn)練和提高語篇的理解,歸納和分析的能力。本節(jié)課的一系列活動(dòng),就是為學(xué)生的語篇閱讀打開一扇窗戶,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語篇意識(shí),使其更全面的理解文章內(nèi)容,歸納主旨大意。學(xué)生在前一節(jié)課的詞匯學(xué)習(xí)中,已經(jīng)掌握了文中所出現(xiàn)的大部分生詞,這為本節(jié)課的閱讀掃清了障礙,能讓學(xué)生更好的專注于語篇結(jié)構(gòu)的理解,而不必因?yàn)樯~過多影響閱讀效果。高一學(xué)生活潑好動(dòng),思維活躍,愿意積極的投入到思考和各種活動(dòng)中。這就需要老師積極熱情的引導(dǎo),合理設(shè)計(jì)活動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié),有條理的分解

2、知識(shí)層次,幫助學(xué)生循序漸進(jìn)的掌握語篇的處理能力。二、教材內(nèi)容分析本節(jié)課閱讀材料是本單元的主要閱讀篇章,屬科普類說明文,講述了計(jì)算機(jī)的發(fā)展歷史及其在當(dāng)今世界各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用。內(nèi)容較為抽象,且有一些專業(yè)術(shù)語,對(duì)高一學(xué)生來說有一定的難度。但寫作手法上以計(jì)算機(jī)為第一人稱進(jìn)行自白,這種擬人的手法能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣,也使得文章更淺顯易懂。本文共分3個(gè)段落,以時(shí)間為順序說明計(jì)算機(jī)的發(fā)展歷史,且每段的第一句話均為該段落的主題句。這種結(jié)構(gòu)的語篇非常適合用來啟發(fā)和引導(dǎo)學(xué)生尋找段落的主題句,并進(jìn)一步歸納文章主旨大意。同時(shí)配以適當(dāng)?shù)木毩?xí),幫助學(xué)生歸納總結(jié)出方法,在練習(xí)中運(yùn)用這些方法,從而提升對(duì)語篇的全局意識(shí),增強(qiáng)對(duì)

3、語篇的解題能力。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)根據(jù)以上學(xué)情和教材分析,本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)是教會(huì)學(xué)生如何正確尋找段落主題句,歸納語篇主旨大意。以這個(gè)任務(wù)為主線,貫穿整個(gè)教學(xué)活動(dòng),讓學(xué)生眼,耳,手并用,通過自主學(xué)習(xí),小組學(xué)習(xí)等教學(xué)活動(dòng),在語境中觀察,總結(jié),實(shí)踐語篇分析方法,并最終從閱讀理解的三個(gè)維度達(dá)到以下目標(biāo):1.信息知識(shí) 了解計(jì)算機(jī)的發(fā)展歷史及其在當(dāng)今社會(huì)各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的廣泛應(yīng)用。2.語言知識(shí) 理解和掌握與計(jì)算機(jī)相關(guān)的詞匯。3.語篇知識(shí) 領(lǐng)悟和實(shí)踐在語篇中尋找主題句的方法,學(xué)會(huì)歸納文章主旨大意。四、教學(xué)過程Step I Lead-in (3 mins)(1)英文網(wǎng)站截圖導(dǎo)入。教師在PPT上呈現(xiàn)一些英文網(wǎng)站的截圖圖片,讓學(xué)生

4、思考有關(guān)英文網(wǎng)站上文章理解的問題,提出兩個(gè)問題:Do you often go to the English website?Do you have some difficulty in understanding the article on the website?借助這兩個(gè)問題引發(fā)學(xué)生的思考,對(duì)下面的閱讀活動(dòng)起到預(yù)熱的作用,以此導(dǎo)入本課的課題。(2)揭題 針對(duì)英文網(wǎng)站上的很多說明文,本節(jié)課將教授學(xué)生如何尋找主題句,如何利用主題句概括文章主旨大意,繼而更好的理解說明文。意圖說明 這個(gè)年齡的學(xué)生好奇心強(qiáng),喜歡探索問題,英文網(wǎng)站是他們獲取信息的優(yōu)質(zhì)資源,但語言卻成為很大的障礙。本環(huán)節(jié)所展示的圖

5、片配合老師的啟發(fā)性問題用以引發(fā)學(xué)生的思考,如何才能更好的理解說明文。用分析的方法引出本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容:要想更好的理解說明文,需要概括出文章的主旨大意,而段落大意是文章主旨大意的重要基礎(chǔ),尋找主題句是確定段落大意的重要方法之一。Step II reading and comprehending ( 25 mins )(1)讓學(xué)生快速瀏覽文章并找出每段的主題句。提問,什么是主題句?如何尋找主題句?讓學(xué)生分別回答,并找出每段的主題句。What is topic sentence? a leading sentenceHow to find out the topic sentence for eac

6、h paragraph? beginning/ ending / no topic sentence(2)提問過后,確定每個(gè)段落的主題句。繼而引發(fā)學(xué)生的思考,如何才能知道自己所找到的主題句是正確的?How do you know that the topic sentence you have found out is right?學(xué)生會(huì)說出在文中找到的一些論點(diǎn),得出結(jié)論:主題句印證:要點(diǎn)支持 We need some supporting details.(3)讀課文,完成課堂練習(xí)1,同時(shí)找出支持每段主題句的細(xì)節(jié),即supporting details. 待學(xué)生完成后,請(qǐng)3名同學(xué)在黑板上寫出

12、導(dǎo)學(xué)生以實(shí)踐的方式總結(jié)有關(guān)主題句的內(nèi)容要點(diǎn),把學(xué)生對(duì)主題句的朦朧的感性認(rèn)識(shí)上升到清晰的理論認(rèn)知水平。(3)(4)(5)訓(xùn)練學(xué)生尋讀的能力,用表格展示出文章的結(jié)構(gòu),所填單詞提醒、引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注文章的結(jié)構(gòu)骨架,幫助學(xué)生直觀的梳理文章,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生分析文本,從而學(xué)會(huì)尋找主題句的支撐論點(diǎn)。Step III Topic sentence to Main idea (5 mins)在得出每段的主題句并通過論點(diǎn)驗(yàn)證正確后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用這些主題句總結(jié)出文章的主旨大意。意圖說明此環(huán)節(jié)為本節(jié)課的點(diǎn)睛之筆,找到主題句的最終目的是為了利用這些主題句得出文章的主旨大意,從而更好的理解說明文。Step IV Exercises
