2、183; 根本用法:1. be about to do.即將.;馬上.2. with短語在句中充當伴隨狀語的成分。2. I think that getting laid off will prove to be the best thing that ever happened to me.  我覺得被辭退將證明是發(fā)生在我身上的最好的一件事。· 根本用法1. 此句為主從復合句,think后面的that從句是賓語從句,that是連詞,不作成分,可以省略掉;getting laid off是動名詞做主語,同時,get done 是一個系表構(gòu)造,表

3、示被動;the best thing 后面的that從句是定語從句,修飾先行詞thing,that是關(guān)系代詞,在從句中充當主語。2. prove to be .證明是.prove 既可以用做行為動詞,又可以做系動詞。當用作行為動詞時,含義是“證明.; 而當用作系動詞時,含義是“被證明是。一般來說,聯(lián)絡(luò)動詞本身含有被動含義,所以不再用于被動語態(tài)。后面往往跟形容詞或to be 或名詞或分詞做表語。He proved the theory and it proved to be correct.他證明了那個理論,理論被證明是正確的。He proved to be unequal to th

4、e job.他不能勝任那個工作。3. I decided that it was time I became an Internet user.  我斷定是成為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)用戶的時候了。· 根本用法此句為主從復合句,that引導的是賓語從句。It was time that. 該做.了 It is high time that后面的從句謂語動詞要用過去式或用should加動詞原形,但should不可省略。如:It is time that the children went to bed. =It is high time that the chil

9、 a bit和a little在肯定句中修飾動詞、形容詞、副詞和比較級時可以互換,表示"一點兒"的意思。例如:The speaker spoke up a bit/a little so as to make himself heard more clearly.演講者把嗓門進步了一點兒,以便使別人聽得更清楚。 2. a bit和a little在否認句中的意思恰恰相反,not a bit相當于"not at all"一點兒都不;not a little相當于"verymuch"或"extremely"很

10、、非常。例如:She is not a bit tired.=She is not tired at all.她一點都不累。3. a little可以直接作定語修飾名詞,而a bit那么要在后面加of構(gòu)成短語才能作定語, 兩者都只能修飾不可數(shù)名詞。例如:There is a little/a bit of food left for lunch. 午飯只能吃剩下的一點食品了。4. a bit of的另一種形式是bits of,a little那么沒有這種變體。例如:Besides this, he used part of an old army wireless set,

15、、義務(wù)等。You shall pay for it!通常指按照規(guī)那么或法律規(guī)定必須,一定The rule says everyone shall not make noises in public places.9.
