3、re Co.,LTD is a new version of HV switch dynamic character tester that is developed in accordance with the industrial standard DL/T846.3-2004HV Switch Comprehensive Testersfor the power industry of the Peoples Republic of China issued on March 9th, 2004. Aiming at the overseas markets, the tester is
4、 compatible with the field requirements of the high-speed power switches in foreign countries. The tester is based on a high-performance industrial embedded platform, with an excellent capability of high-speed data collection and analysis, able to stand the interference (over 500kV from the strong e
5、lectromagnetic field. In the meantime, it is also characterized with simultaneous analysis of multiplex HV switch dynamic characteristics and high degree of accuracy.While doing the required parameter tests on HV switches, the tester can provide accurate characteristic curves as well as correspondin
6、g analysis and calculation. For different test requirements of different switches, the tester can provide a perfect self-defining function to the user.The test is equipped with a built-in isolated adjustable DC power supply and operating command analog control modules for switches, which can directl
7、y control the breaking, closing and closing of switches via the DC power supply inside when testing. Besides, it also has automatic or manual function to do operating voltage tests.The tester can do mechanical characteristic parameter (time, speed, synchronism, travel, bounce, coil current, operatin
8、g voltage, etc test and characteristic analysis of various types (high-oil, low-oil, SF vacuum etc. and manufacturers (foreign and domestic.The structure, operation and wiring of the tester are all designed in accordance with the requirements of the field tests. For all the potential accidents at si
9、te, it is well-secured, able to stand the shake and collision caused by frequent transportation, handling and moving, able to stand 500kV electromagnetic interference in the power transformation field. The built-in high-performance computer in the tester can save test parameters and curves, making a
10、 test report.The tester can be applicable to type approval tests, delivery tests and field tests for HV switches.II.Main Functions of Product (1Test Items1.Time measurement: to simultaneously measure the fixed breaking,closing and closing time as well as the asynchronous time of the three fractures;

16、f the test wires as well as theinstallation of the sensor shall be done when both the test object and tester are power off.3.The tester shall be grounded reliably when the tester is in use.4.Try to use the special test wires for the tester.5.In case of connecting DC output wires, please make sure th
17、at thebreaking operation is safe for the operator and equipment before switching on the power and control switch. 6.When the tester is in use, the operator or other personnel areprohibited to contact the measuring loop, control output loop and the conductor connecting to the loops.V.Parameter Statem
18、entBreaking (closing Time: it refers to the time period starting from the tester receiving the timing trigger command to the moment the switch being broken (closed.Bouncing Time: it refers to the time period starting from the first time when the switch is broken (closed to the last time when the swi
19、tch is finally closed (broken.Bouncing Frequency: it refers to the closing (breaking times between the first time when the switch is broken (closed and the last time when the switch is finally closed (broken.Switching distance Travel: it refers to the travel between the moving contact of the switch
20、moving from the resting position to closing with (breaking away from the stationary contact instantly.Contact Travel: it refers to the travel between the dynamic and stationary contacts of the switch moves together.Total Run: it refers to the travel of the moving contact of the switch when it moves
21、from the stationary position to the final stationary position. Maximum Overshoot Travel: it refers to the difference between the maximum travel and total run of the moving contact of the switch. Maximum Rebounding Travel: it refers to the maximum travel of the moving contact of the switch in the pro
22、cess of bouncing.Closing (Breaking brake Speed: it refers to the average speed during the travel or time period that is self-defined by the user.Instant closing (Breaking Speed: it refers to the instant speed at the moment the dynamic and stationary contacts closing (breaking. Average Speed: it refe
23、rs to the average speed of the moving contact during the total run.Maximum Speed: it refers to the maximum instant speed of the moving contact during the moving travel.Metal Short-Circuit Time: it refers to the time period from when the dynamic and stationary contact closing instantly to the dynamic
24、 and stationary contacts breaking again, during the closing-breaking test and breaking- closing-breaking test.Current-Free Time: it refers to the time period from when the dynamic and stationary contact breaking instantly to the dynamic and stationary contacts closing again, during the closing-break
25、ing test and breaking- closing-breaking test.Re-closing Time: it refers to the time period from when the tester receiving the breaking command to the dynamic and stationary contacts closing again, during the closing-breaking test and breaking- closing-breaking test.VI.Panel Port and Operational Keys
26、主面板圖Main Board Diagram1.DC Output PortIn the internal synchronization test, the tester outputs 3040V DC current via this port, which can be applied to the operating coils for the breaking and closing of HV switches, controlling the operation of the breaking and closing.In the test, please use the sp
27、ecial DC output wires to connect the output end, the negative end of the tester, and also connect to the corresponding wiring terminals of the switch, with the negative terminal shared (please refer to DC Output Wiring Diagram.The following two indicators respectively stand for the output status of
28、the closing port and breaking port. It indicates that the corresponding port is in output status when the lamp is on.2.External Synchronization Port In the external synchronization test, the switch operation shall be controlled by the external power supply, please use the special wires for external
29、synchronization to connect respectively the corresponding power output ports that control the breaking and closing of the switch, and also connect to the external synchronization fracture of the tester (note: in case the external power supply is DC power, please pay attention that the position end o
30、f the power supply shall be connected to the breaking (closing end while the negative end of the power supply to the negative end of the tester.The external synchronization sampling voltage scope: DC or AC 30300V, with the input current 12mA.3.Time Port (FractureThe tester provides 12 ports for samp
31、ling the breaking and closing signals of the switch fracture. The open circuit output voltage of the fracture is 5060V, with a short-circuit current of 2030mA.When testing the time and synchronization parameters for the breaking and closing of the switch fracture, please use the special fracture wir
32、es to connect the fracture end and the dynamic as well as stationary contact ends of the tester (please refer to the related recommended wiring diagram in the Test Operation.Each channel is composed of a colorful port and a black port that is on the right, with the output voltage of the colorful por
33、t positive and the black port negative. All the channels are completely electrically isolated in between.4.Speed PortThe tester is equipped with three sensor ports, which can simultaneously measure the speed of the three-way displacement.When using the sensor to test the motion characteristic of the
34、 moving contact of the switch, please use the special sensor wires to connect this port and the sensor.5.Auxiliary Contact PortWhen using the auxiliary contacting to test the speed index of the switch (generally a vacuum switch, please connect the auxiliary contact through this port (please refer to
35、 the Speed Test Wiring Diagram for Auxiliary Contacting.6.Panel LockThis lock is the controlling switch for the AC power supply of the tester. For the sake of security, the user shall shut off the power supply of the tester via the panel lock when installing on the switch, and do the installation wi
36、th the key so as to avoid unnecessary accidents during the operation.7.Mains JackThe tester is connected to AC 220V power supply through this mains jack.8.USB InterfaceThe tester is equipped with a USB interface, able to support printers with various USB interfaces. Please install the corresponding
37、driver via the USB interface before connecting to the printer.9.Mouse and Keyboard InterfacesThese two interfaces can connect a PS2 standard mouse and keyboard externally.10.Mini KeyboardNumbers and letters can be input through this keyboard, which also support the intelligent ABC Chinese character
38、input, with its function keys providing the corresponding functions similar to those of PCs.11.Scroll BallThe scroll ball is furnished with left and right buttons to operate PC104. 12.Reset ButtonWhen the tester is not in use, please use this button to adjust the tester to the assured initial state
39、from an uncertain or jumbled state, and begin to work again from this initial state.VII.Interface and OperationaStarting OperationWhen the power supply is turned on, the system starts up and the programs run automatically. With the completion of an auto-check on the system status, it goes to the pri
40、mary interface:Diagram 1This interface gives a list of seven test modes for choices, namely breaking, closing, breaking-closing, closing-breaking, breaking- closing-breaking, LV operating test and speed test with auxiliary contacts. Click and choose the corresponding test mode to begin the test.Spee
41、d test channel can choose the corresponding travel and speed phases that need to be tested, that is, switches A, B and C is installed with a sensor phase. These three phases can be chosen at the same time.The controlling mode can choose it shall be controlled and operated by the internal power suppl
42、y or by external power supply of the tester. Operating voltage is used to choose the required output voltage value (30240V when the switch motion is controlled by the internal power supply of the tester.Fracture selection is used to choose the test fracture for the current measurement.The RESET butt
43、on in the menu that is superscripted in the interface is used to reset the programs of the PC. PARAMETER SETTING is used to set the test parameters. STATUS CHECK is used to check the current breaking and closing status of the test switch.DATA VIEW is used to view the historical data of the test.Befo
44、re clicking the TEST BEGIN button, please view the setting of the test parameters first, and click the PARAMETER SETTING button to go to the parameter setting interface. 45、rent test switch, set the test parameters and print the test reports.All the Switch Types: can display all the previous switch types input for users choices.Current Switch Types: the switch type of the current test can be chosen from all the switch types or input again.The switch types that have bee
46、n input previously include the setting of the test parameters for this type of switch, after choosing it, the user can enter the primary interface for the measurement directly. In case of a newly-input switch type, please set the test parameters required by various test items.Measurement Item Select
47、ion: display all the items that can be test by the tester. Please click accordingly if the user wants to test the item. Diagnosis Index: it is used to fill in the standard value scope of the switch under test. After determining all the indexes, the tester shall give alarming information when certain
48、 index of the current switch exceeds the standard scope.Calculation of Absolute Displacement Value: the default displacement value calculation of the tester is relative calculation, that is, the minimum displacement is set to be zero, the maximum displacement value-minimum displacement value is calc
49、ulated into the data as the final displacement, and the curve shall be made according to this definition. The curve and displacement data shall given based on the tested displacement value if clicking the absolute displacement value calculation.Sensor Type Selection: it is used to choose the sensor
50、required for the test. Sensors can be classified as linear sensor (25mm, 50mm, 350mm and angle sensor.A small interface comes out when choosing an angle sensor, as follows: Diagram 3Fitting: it indicates that when only an angle sensor can be installed at site for a certain switch instead of a linear
51、 sensor, but in a special occasion, a linear sensor can be used, too, in this case, the user can use the linear sensor and angle sensor to fit, and the tester take down the fitting curve. In the next test, the user only needs to input the switch type, then the tester shall automatically memorize the
52、 fitting curve to convert the angle travel to the linear travel.Input Proportion: in this case, the program shall convert the data in a certain proportion, the conversion formula is L=ºDirectly Used Angle: in this case, the program shall used the angle value directly to display the result, and
53、the calculation point of the breaking and closing speed is also the angle value.After choosing the item, please click ACCESSORY INDEX SETTING to go to the setting interface for parameters such as test time, etc. Click VERIFY to return to the primary interface. Click CANCEL to return to the data befo
54、re the modification.The setting interface for parameters such as test time, etc.:Diagram 4External Synchronization Signal: when doing the external synchronization test for breaking and closing, the electricity obtaining mode shall be that the switch tester begin to measure the data after detecting t
55、he operating coils of the HV circuit breaker has obtained the electricity. The electricity losing mode, shall be that the switch tester begin to measure the data after detecting the operating coils of the HV circuit breaker has lost the electricity.Sampling Frequency: the setting frame is used to se
56、t the data sampling frequency of the tester. At present, the maximum sampling frequency is 150kHz (Higher the sampling frequency is, shorter the allowed measurement time shall be. As for the switch with a higher motion speed, then a higher sampling frequency can be chosen; as for the switch with a l
57、ower motion speed, then a lower sampling frequency can be chosen. In case of a low motion speed with a measurement time no more than 500ms, then a higher sampling frequency shall also be chosen for the sake of a higher measurement precision.Speed Definition: there are two methods for the start timin
58、g of speed.a.Nominal Over-travelb.Breaking and Closing of ContactsThe nominal over-travel method is to verity a point as the start point (note: the definition of this point is related to the relative and absolute displacement in Diagram 2, when adopting the relative displacement for calculation, for instance, 6mm, then the start point of the moving contact shall be 0 displacement, the point after its moving for 6mm shall be the initial calculation point of speed. When adopting the absolute displacement for calculation, then the initial calculation point of sp
