4、 life that many Americans find disturbing. Ishmael Reed, however, sees this mixing of customs as neither new nor a thread. They have different cultures, different customs, but when they come to the US, they are one, one nation. Americans ta

But the melting pot imagery has been contested by the idea of multiculturalism, the salad bowl theory, or as it is known in Canada, the cultural mosaic, whereby the immigrants retain their own n

Because of the complexity of the nationality of the American people and their right to choose their own ch

11、urch to worship, there are as many as over 333,000 local church groups, and more than 250 religious sects throughout the country. That is because the country is largely composed of immigrants, and those overseas workers came to the US with different religions. In general, Christianity and Judaism ha

12、ve the greatest influence on nation.
