11狀語從句考點分析:狀語的定義:英語中,修飾動詞、形容詞、副詞等的句子成分叫狀語(adverbial)。狀語的功用:狀語說明地點、時間、原因、目的、結果、條件、方向、程度、方式和伴隨狀況等。狀語一般由副詞、介詞短語、分詞和分詞短語、不定式或相當于副詞的詞或短語來擔當。其位置一般放在句末,但也可放在句首或句中狀語從句(AdverbialClause)的定義:狀語從句指句子用作狀語時,起副詞作用的句子。作用:修飾主句中的動詞、非謂語動詞、形容詞、副詞或整個句子。分類:根據其作用可分為時間、地點、原因、條件、目的、結果、讓步、方式和比較狀語從句。在句中位置:狀語從句一般由連詞(從屬連詞)引導,也可以由詞組引起,從句位于句首或句中時通常用逗號與主句隔開,位于句尾時可以不用逗號隔開。專題講解:知識點1):狀語從句的分類時間狀語從句時間狀語從句的時態(tài)一致(1)如果主句是一般將來時,在時間狀語從句中用一般現在時表將來。(2)如果主句是一般將來時,若時間狀語從句強調動作完成,從句也可以用現在完成時1、while,as,when/whenever的用法比較連接詞when的用法小結when(特指)引導的從句表示的具體的時間,從句的動作和主句的動作可以同時,也可以先于主句的動作。whenever(泛指)指任何一個不具體的時間。(1)when引導的時間狀語從句的謂語動詞可以是可延續(xù)的,也可以是表短暫性動作的動詞,可用于主句和從句動作同時發(fā)生或從句動作先于主句動作。如:Whenthefilmended,thepeoplewentback.WhenIlivedthere,IusedtogototheseashoreonSundays.(2)可用作并列連詞,其意義為“那時,這時”,相當于andatthis/thattime。常用于下列句式:Somebodywasdoingsomething/wasabouttodosth./wasonthepointofdoingsth.when...(剛要這時突然)(3)還可以表示原因“既然”,相當于since;consideringthat。如:Itwasfoolishofyoutotakeataxiwhenyoucouldeasilywalkthereinfiveminutes.(4)When的意思1)當…時候2)那時;這時(突然)bedoing...whenbeabouttodo...whenbeonthepointofdoing.whenhadjustdone.when3)既然(原因狀語從句)Itwasfoolishofyoutotakeataxiwhenyoucouldeasilywalkthereinfiveminutes.連接詞while的用法小結(1)while引導的動作必須是持續(xù)性的,側重主句動作和從句動作相對比。如:Pleasedon'ttalksoloudwhileothersareworking.(2)while作為并列連詞,意為“而,卻”,表示對比。There'splentyofraininthesoutheast,whilethere'slittleinthenortheast.Somepeoplewastefoodwhileothershaven'tenough.★注意:while與but的區(qū)別二者都有“而,然而”之意,但while強調二者的對比,而but強調前后的轉折關系。(3)while可表示盡管,相當于although。連接詞when,while,as的用法區(qū)別:(1)While指一段時間。表示主句和從句的動作同時發(fā)生,并持續(xù)一段時間。從句的謂語動詞必須是可延續(xù)的。When指一點時間或一段時間。表示主句和從句的動作同時發(fā)生,也常表示從句動作先于主句動作。引導的從句的謂語動詞是可延續(xù)的,也可以是表短暫性動作的動詞。如:When/Whilehewaseatinghisbreakfast,heheardthedoorbellring.WhenIstoppedmycar,amancameuptome.(不可用while)Whenyouhavefinishedyourwork,youmayhavearest.(不可用while)(2)as指一點時間,以可指一段時間。側重于表示在從句動作發(fā)生過程中主句動作同時發(fā)生。當主句和從句的主語一致時,as還有“一邊…一邊…”的意思。AsIwasgettingonthebus,someonecalledme.Ashewalkedalong,hesanghappily.Astheelectionapproached,theviolencegotworse.(表示“隨著”連詞用as,不用when或while)(3)如果主句表示的是短暫動作,而從句用延續(xù)性動作的進行時態(tài)表示在一段時間內正在進行的動作時,when,while與as可互換使用。如:When/While/AsIwaswalkingdownthestreet,Icameacrossanoldfriendofmine.2、名詞詞組引導時間狀語從句有時名詞everytime(每次),thenexttime(下一次),bythetime,thenextday(第二天),thefirsttime,everyday,theyear…等,也可起從屬連詞的作用,引導時間狀語從句。IthoughtherniceandhonestthefirsttimeImether.Everytimeyougetbackatnight,youdropyourshoesonthefloor.Ididn'thaveapennythelasttimeIsawyou.3、表示“一…就”的連詞或詞組{assoonasthemoment,theminute,thesecond,theinstant.??instantly,immediately,directly,presently.?hardly/scarcely?when,nosooner?than?.I'llgiveyouaphoneassoonasIcomeback.一DidyouremembertogiveMarythemoneyyouowedher?你記著還給瑪麗的欠款了嗎?一Yes.IgaveittoherthemomentIsawher.是的。我一見到她就還給她了。Theyoungladyrushedintotheroomimmediatelysheheardthenoise.那位年輕女士一聽到響聲就沖進房間。Directlythemastercamein,everyonewasquiet.校長一進來,大家就安靜下來。Hardlyhadhearrivedwhenshestartedcomplaining他剛一至山她就開始抱怨起來。4、since和before的用法比較兩者均可用于“It+be...+since/before-從句"的句型。區(qū)別在于since表示“自從以來”,所在主、從句的謂語動詞的時態(tài)關系是:Itis/hasbeensometimesincesb.didsth.。Itis/hasbeen30yearssincehejoinedtherevolution.他參加革命己三十年了。before主、從句的時態(tài)關系是:Itwassometimebeforesb.didsth.過了多久才……和Itwillbesometimebeforesb.doessth.還要過多久才Itwasthreedaysbeforehecameback.他三天后才回來。Itwillbethreedaysbeforehecomesback.他三天后才會回來。否定句型Itbenot+一段時間+before肯定句''不多久就......”Itwasnotlongbeforehecameback.不久他就回來了。Itwasn'ttwoyearsbeforeheleftthecountry.沒到兩年他就離開這個國家了。比較記憶:beforelong不久以后longbefore很久以前Theycamebackbeforelong.他們很快就回來了。IknewTomlongbeforeIknewyou.我在認識你之前很久就認識了湯姆。5、till/until,not???untiltill/unitl主句謂語動詞必須是延續(xù)性動詞,until=till,但是在句首只能用untilnot...until主句的謂語動詞經常是非延續(xù)性動詞,也可以是延續(xù)性動詞Theystayedthereuntilwecameback.Theydidn'tleaveuntilwecameback.Itwasnotuntil...that...強調從句時需把not放在從句前面ItwasnotuntilaSaturdayafternooninMaythathecouldarrangeformetomeethereldersister.notuntil在句首時,主句要部分倒裝Notuntilallthefishdiedintheriverdidthevillagersrealizehowseriousthepollutionwas.直到河里的魚都死了村民們才意識到污染的嚴重性。6、once一旦OnceIarriveinShanghai,Iwillcallyou.課堂練習Icouldn'tforgetherIsawher.forthefirsttimeB.forthelasttimeC.foreachtimeD.thefirsttimeJasminewasholidayingwithherfamilyinawildlifeparkshewasbittenonthelegbyalion.
