第2題:A
第3題:A
A.respectful
B.respected
C.respectable
D.suitable

第2題:A
第3題:C
第4題:C
第5題:A
5.單選題
Whenhiscontractwas(
)unexpectedly,hedesperatelyneededanewjob.
A.accomplished
B.expired
C.fulfilled
D.terminated
accomplish“完成,實現(xiàn),達(dá)到”;expire“期滿;終止”;fulfill“履行,實現(xiàn),滿足”;terminate“終止,結(jié)束”。
6.單選題
Thecarwasingoodworking()whenIboughtitafewmonthsago.
A.order
B.form
C.state
D.circumstance
【答案】A
7.單選題
Itwasverykindofyoutogetmesomethingformybirthday,butyou(
)mesuchanexpensivepresent.
A.didn’tneedbuying
B.needn’tbuy
C.needn’thavebought
D.hadn’tneededtobuy
needn’thavedonesth.
8.單選題
Whyareyoustaring?
I’veneverseen()treebefore.
A.kindof
B.thatkindof
C.suchkind
D.such
kindof意為“稍微,有點(diǎn)”,不符合句意,排除A;suchkind后面接名詞時要加of,排除C;such修飾可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)時后面需接冠詞a/an,排除D。
9.單選題
Therewasonlyasmall(
)inthecity'spopulationoverthelasttenyears.
A.intimacy
B.increment
C.immortality
D.incidence
intimacy“親密,親昵行為,隱私”;increment“增量,增加”;immortality“不朽,不滅”;incidence“發(fā)生率,影響”。
10.單選題
Duringtheterroristattacks,theauthoritiesorderedto(
)theworkersandresidentsofhigh-profilebuildingsfromtheconstructions.
A.evict
B.evoke
C.evacuate
D.evade
evict“驅(qū)逐;逐出";evoke“喚起;引起”;evacuate“疏散;撤退;排泄”;evade“逃避;逃脫”。

第5題:A
根據(jù)題干可定位到文章第一段“A.L.S,progressive,paralyzingdisease,havestillednearlyeverymuscle(A.L.S是一種漸進(jìn)性的麻痹性疾病,幾乎使每一塊肌肉都停止活動)”和第二段“A.L.S.orLouGehrig’sdisease,isoftendescribedasakindoflivingdeathin,whichthebodygoesflaccidwhilemindremainsintactandacutelyaware.(肌萎縮性側(cè)索硬化癥或盧伽雷氏癥,常被描述為一種活死人。

A.attheleast
B.theleast
C.theleastbit
D.intheleastbit
