用于肯定句,表示對(duì)過去情況較有把握的,肯定性的推測,常譯為“一

其否定式用can^/couldn'thavedone表示“不可能做過...或不可能發(fā)

4)might+have+過去分詞

表示對(duì)過去發(fā)生事情的推測,譯為“有可能…”其用法與mayhavedone

條件句有兩類,一類是真實(shí)條件句,一類是虛擬條件句,如果假設(shè)的

情況是有可能發(fā)生的,就是真實(shí)條件句,這種條件句中謂語都用陳述

語氣,如果是假設(shè)的情況或是發(fā)生的可能性不大的情況,則是虛擬條

件句

虛擬條件句主要有兩類:1)表示現(xiàn)在及將來情況的虛擬條件句(表

示假設(shè)或?qū)崿F(xiàn)的可能性不大的情況)

虛擬條件句的基本形式

表示虛擬的時(shí)間條件從句謂語形式主句謂語形式

現(xiàn)在過去式

would/should/might/could+do

過去過去完成式

would/should/might/could+havedone

將來did/wereto/shoulddo

would/should/might/could+do

3)could,should,might,would,must,needn^+現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)

其中needn't+現(xiàn)在完成時(shí):表示過去本不必做某事,但事實(shí)上做了。

(也可以說didn'thavetodo)

Must+現(xiàn)在完成時(shí):表示對(duì)過去情況較有把握的,肯定性的推測,譯

能做過…”或“不可能發(fā)生”

“本來可以/會(huì)...,本能夠...(但事實(shí)上沒做)”,其否定式couldn'thave

Might:可以有兩層意思

1.表示對(duì)過去可能發(fā)生的事情的推測,意為…有可能,其用法與

mayhavedone相似

表示某事過去有可能發(fā)生(但實(shí)際上并沒有發(fā)生),常用來表示
