并列連詞的基本用法(★★☆)并列連詞按作用可分為表示聯(lián)合、轉(zhuǎn)折、選擇和因果四大類。1.常見的表聯(lián)合關(guān)系的并列連詞:(1)and意為“和,又,而,并且”。(2018年考)如:IlikeEnglishandmath.我喜歡英語和數(shù)學(xué)。(2)notonly…butalso(butaswell)…意為“不但……而且……”。
如:NotonlymyfatherbutalsomymotherlikeswatchingTVverymuch.不但我的爸爸,而且我的媽媽也非常喜歡看電視。(3)aswellas意為“也”。如:Heneedsaknifeaswellasapieceofpaper.他需要一把小刀,也需要一張紙。(4)either…or…意為“或……或……;不是……就是……”。either…or…連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)和其鄰近的詞保持一致,即由or后面的詞而定。(2015年考)如:EitherheorIamgoingtohaveameeting.要么他,要么我將參加會議。(5)neither…nor…意為“既不……也不……”。當(dāng)此詞組連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞的用法和either…or…的用法一樣,由nor后面的詞而定。如:Neithertheteachernorthestudentsarehappy.老師和學(xué)生都不開心。(6)both…and…意為“既……又……”,連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如:BothMaryandLilyarefromAmerica.瑪麗和莉莉都來自美國。
2.常見的轉(zhuǎn)折連詞:but,while(而),yet,however(然而)。如:Helikessports,butheonlywatchesthemonTV.他喜歡體育,但是只在電視上觀看。MysisterwasdoingherhomeworkwhileIwasplayingcomputergames.我的妹妹在做作業(yè),而我在玩電腦游戲。3.常見的選擇連詞:or,otherwise。如:Wouldyouliketeaorcoffee?你要茶還是咖啡?Hurryup,otherwisewecan’tcatchthebus.快點,否則我們趕不上車。4.常見的因果連詞:for,so和therefore等。其中for引導(dǎo)的句子不表示直接原因,而是用來附帶解釋或說明前一句的情況,只用在句中,前后兩個句子用逗號隔開。(2013年考)如:You’dbetterputonyoursweater,forit’scoldoutside.你最好穿上毛衣,外面冷。Myfatheriswaitingforme,soIhavetogo.爸爸在等我,所以我要走了。Itisgoingtorain,thereforewehavetoputoffthematch.要下雨了,因此我們不得不推遲比賽。()1.(2018廣東)ChinaisgettingmoreandmoreindependentofWesterntechnology,

從屬連詞(★★☆)引導(dǎo)狀語從句的從屬連詞有:(1)連接時間狀語從句的從屬連詞有:since,until,after,before,when,while,as,assoonas,whenever,eversince等。(2011年考)如:HisfathercamebackhomewhilehewaswatchingTV.他在看電視的時候,他爸爸回家了。(2)連接讓步狀語從句的從屬連詞有:although,though,evenif,however等。(2017年考)如:Theoldmanplayssportseverymorning,althoughheisover70yearsold.雖然那個老人70多歲了,但他每天早晨都鍛煉身體。(3)連接原因狀語從句的從屬連詞有:as,because,since,nowthat等。(2016年考)如:Let’sgotoamovie,sincewearefreenow.既然現(xiàn)在我們有時間,那去看電影吧。
(4)連接目的狀語從句的從屬連詞有:that,sothat,inorderthat等。(2019年考)如:Mr.Blackranfastinorderthathecouldcatchthetrain.布萊克先生為了趕火車而快跑。(5)連接條件狀語從句的從屬連詞有:if,unless,once,incase等。(2014年考)如:Herfatherwon’tbuyherapresentunlessshegetsgoodgrades.除非她取得好成績,不然她爸爸不會給她買禮物的。
