1、Moral/Ethical Dilemmas,倫理困境也被稱為 道德悖論,是指陷于幾個(gè)道德命令之間的明顯沖突,如果遵守其中一項(xiàng),就將違犯另一項(xiàng)的情形。,Trolley problem電車難題,這是一個(gè)倫理學(xué)的思想實(shí)驗(yàn)。其大致內(nèi)容是:假設(shè)一輛有軌電車失去控制,即將撞上前面的5個(gè)人,這時(shí)可以通過(guò)搬動(dòng)道岔來(lái)避免該事故,但另外一條岔道上卻有1個(gè)人,那么,是否可以通過(guò)犧牲這一個(gè)人的生命而拯救另外五個(gè)人? 此難題可以變化,如一條岔道有一人,另外一條可以改成更多人或更少人,另外五人可以改成罪犯。,The Overcrowded Lifeboat,In 1842, a ship struck an icebe

On the other hand, if the captain attempted to save some, he could do so only by killing others and their deaths would be his responsibility; this would be worse than doing nothing and letting all die. The captain

5、 rejected this reasoning. Since the only possibility for rescue required great efforts of rowing, the captain decided that the weakest would have to be sacrificed. In this situation it would be absurd, he thought, to decide by drawing lots who should be thrown overboard. As it turned out, after days

6、 of hard rowing, the survivors were rescued and the captain was tried for his action.
