八下Unit 5 Section B 2a2e教學(xué)設(shè)計 課題:Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?(Section B Reading) 設(shè)計教師:彭曉英 工作單位:慈利二坊坪九年制學(xué)校.教學(xué)內(nèi)容:人教版八下Unit5 SectionB 2b (Reading:Do you Remember What You Were Doing? ).教學(xué)目標(biāo)設(shè)計(三緯目標(biāo)) 1.知識目標(biāo):讓學(xué)生掌握下列單詞,短語和句型。 重點單詞:passage, pupil, completely, shocked ,recently,terrorist,date,tower,truth 重點詞組:in history, in silence,at first,be shocked to do,tell the truth,have trouble doing 重點句型:I was so scared that I could hardly think clearly after that. 2.能力目標(biāo):通過系列閱讀活動,學(xué)會跳讀的技巧,提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生 的語感。 3.情感價值目標(biāo):通過本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生在重大事件中受到教育。.教學(xué)重點: 1.掌握上列新單詞和短語; 2.提高學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力。.教學(xué)難點: 1.正確理解下面句子:I was so scared that I could hardly think clearly after that. 2.怎樣幫助學(xué)生更好地理解這篇課文?.教學(xué)策略:任務(wù)型教學(xué),跳讀法和合作學(xué)習(xí)相結(jié)合。.教學(xué)手段:黑板,課本、多媒體.教學(xué)過程:Step 1:導(dǎo)入1. 問候并復(fù)習(xí)過去進行時:(教師問學(xué)生回答) T:Good morning,class. S:Good morning,Ms Peng. T:What were you doing when I came in? S:I was. 設(shè)計目的:激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,及時復(fù)習(xí)。 2. 呈現(xiàn)新單詞和短語并教學(xué)這些新單詞和短語:passage, pupil,completely,shocked,in silence,recently,take down,terrorist,date,tower,truth,at first. 教師活動:教師教學(xué)這些單詞和短語,學(xué)生更讀。 學(xué)生活動:學(xué)生認讀并記憶這些單詞和短語。 教師活動:教師講解passage,completely,shocked,in silence和at first的用法。 設(shè)計意圖:疏通生詞,以提高閱讀速度。Step 2:呈現(xiàn) 教師問學(xué)生回答:看圖,介紹38頁兩圖中人物情況: T:Who is he? Ss:He is Martin Luther King. T:What was he? Ss:He was a Negroid leader. T:What happened? Ss:A plane hit the building and the building was taking down. 教師活動:教師講解閱讀指導(dǎo): Read the Title and First Sentences.The title can be helpful for you to understand a text. It is also a good idea to read the first sentence of each paragraph before you read the whole text.學(xué)生活動:要求學(xué)生讀標(biāo)題和每段的第一句并回答下面兩個問題: What was Robert Allan when Dr.King was killed? Which day will Kate Smith never forget?設(shè)計意圖:1.激活學(xué)生已有的信息,使學(xué)生具備攝入新知識的心理定勢。 2.激活學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 3.幫助老師引入課文的主題。Step 3:快速閱讀 教師活動:播放錄音 學(xué)生活動:快讀課文,了解課文大意,回答書上的兩個問題。 設(shè)計意圖:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀,把握關(guān)鍵詞的能力。 參考答案:1.D r.Martin Luther King was killed and the World Trade Center was taken down by terrorists. 2.On April 4 1968 and on September 11 2001.Step 4.細讀課文 教師活動:要求學(xué)生細讀課文,總結(jié)課文,做好筆記: What was Robert Allen doing when Dr. Martin Luther King was killed? What was Kate Smith doing when the World Trade Center was taken down ? 學(xué)生活動:1.認真閱讀課文,先回答以上兩個問題。 參考答案:1.Robert Allan:When Dr. Martin Luther King was killed on April 4,1968, he was a pupil.he was eating dinner with his family in the kitchen. He was completely shocked. 2.Kate Smith:When the World Trade Center in New York was taking down by terrorists on September 11,2001,she wasworking in her office near the two towers.A plane hit it.she was so scared that she could hardly think clearly after that. 2.認真閱讀課文,完成課本上的2c,2d。 設(shè)計意圖:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速查讀細節(jié)、捕捉信息的能力。Step 5.知識點 教師活動:講解短語用法:be shocked to do sth,tell the truth,have trouble doing sth. 學(xué)生活動:要求學(xué)生適當(dāng)做一下筆記。 設(shè)計意圖:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生對英語慣用法的運用Step6.合作練習(xí): 學(xué)生活動:要求學(xué)生討論:你記住了文中多少內(nèi)容? A:When did Dr. Martin Luther King die?
