八年級英語(下)第5單元第2課時Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Section A 3a3c 一、【教材分析】教學目標知識目標1. 學習并掌握下列單詞:storm, wind, light, report, area, wood, window, flashlight, match, beat, against, asleep, rise, fallen, apart 2. 能正確使用以下常用表達:with a serious storm happening outside, make sure, fall asleep, die down, in a mess, clean up 3. 能熟練掌握并使用下列重點句式:1)Black clouds were making the sky very dark. 2)With no light outside, it felt like midnight. 3) It was hard to have fun with a serious storm happening outside. 4) Although the storm broke many things apart, it brought families and neighbors closer together.4. 學會過去進行時態(tài)的構(gòu)成和用法。能力目標通過閱讀訓練,學會運用過去進行時態(tài),談論過去的事情或講述過去的故事。情感目標通過本課的學習,培養(yǎng)學生在困難面前互幫互助的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。教學重點正確使用過去進行時態(tài),談論過去的事情或講述過去的故事。教學難點正確使用過去進行時態(tài),談論過去的事情或講述過去的故事。 教學方法情景教學法;任務型教學法。二、【教學流程】環(huán)節(jié)師生活動設(shè)計意圖I. Preparation 準備1檢查單詞預習情況:教師結(jié)合學生讀的狀況,適當領(lǐng)讀,并幫助學生正音。教師根據(jù)構(gòu)詞法知識,幫助學生識記單詞。 聽寫單詞反饋利用構(gòu)詞法再記憶。rain+storm=rainstorm, wind+y=windy, light, report+er= reporter, area, wood, window, flash+light= flashlight, match, beat, against, asleep, rise, fallen, apart, fall asleep, die down, in a mess2復習檢查 1)通過檢查“學案”中“新知預習”內(nèi)容,檢查預習效果。2)復習過去進行時:(1) Show the 3 pictures with PPT and let the Ss make conversations about what the people were doing. T: What was he doing? Ss: He was doing the homework in the house / at 8:00 last night cooking in the kitchen /at this time yesterdaywatching a game at home / when it rained (2) 總結(jié)過去進行時的構(gòu)成:was/ were + doing 通過教師引導,讓學生進行目標語言操練,在反復的問答中,加深對過去進行時的理解。使一些有能力的學生可以將自己已有的認識水平與實際運用結(jié)合起來II. Presentation呈現(xiàn)1. Learning tasks “示標定向”。 1)學習并掌握下列單詞:storm, wind, light, report, area, wood, window, flashlight, match, beat, against, asleep, rise, fallen, apart 2)能正確使用以下常用表達:with a serious storm happening outside, make sure, fall asleep, die down, in a mess, clean up 3)能熟練掌握并使用下列重點句式:(1)Black clouds were making the sky very dark. Leading-in“導入新課”Ask and answer the following questions:Can you describe what a rainstorm is like? How do you feel when the rainstorm comes?出示圖片,引出要學的單詞,固定短語及重點句式,使學生在閱讀過程中更好的鞏固和掌握。讓學生帶著問題閱讀,為機械操練到語言實際運用的過渡奠定了基礎(chǔ)。III. Practice 操練1. 速讀 (Fast Reading)Read quickly and find the answers to the questions:(1) What was the weather like before the heavy rain started?(2) What was the neighborhood like after the storm?2. 精讀 (Intensive Reading)Read the passage carefully and check the things that happened in the story. (3b)1)When the news on TV was reported, strong winds could be heard/ came outside. 2) While Bens mom was making sure the radio was working, his dad was putting pieces of wood over the windows. 3) Ben was helping his mom make dinner when the heavy rain finally started. 4) When Ben finally fell asleep at 3:00 a.m., the wind was dying down. 3. 朗讀 (Loud Reading)1) Read after the tape twice. 2) Read the passage by themselves, and then give some of them show time.通過速讀,使學生掌握文章中的大意。通過精度,使學生對文章中出現(xiàn)的重點詞組及短語掌握。IV. Consolidation鞏固1. Retell the passage according to the questions. (1) What was the weather like?(2) What were the people doing before the rainstorm?(3) What were the people doing after the rainstorm?2. Discuss the questions with a partner.What things can bring people closer together? How can we help each other in times of difficulty? Give an example. 3. 使用“學案”中“自主探究”部分的內(nèi)容,體驗語法以及語言知識點的使用方法。通過復述課文,使學生的綜合知識點得到再次的升華。V. Examination檢測1. 引導學生小結(jié)梳理知識框架、規(guī)律、方法,并對合作小組當堂學習情況進行總結(jié)評價,鞏固學生所獲得的語言知識和經(jīng)驗,讓學生在評價中反思,在反思中進步。Ask one of the students to say what they have learnt.1)words & phrases 2) 過去進行時的構(gòu)成和用法。2. 當堂檢測(見學案):教師要隨堂進行評價,批改可以由學習小組內(nèi)互批、組間互批、集體訂正等方法,批閱后教師要統(tǒng)計達標情況,收集反饋信息,當堂矯正補救。VI. Assignment作業(yè)1. 口頭作業(yè):利用早讀,朗讀或背誦課
