Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Period: 1(Section A 1a-2的)澄邁縣永發(fā)初級(jí)中學(xué) 曾瓊波一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析本單元基本上都圍繞著“傳奇式的童話故事”這一話題展開語言技能和語言知識(shí)都是依據(jù)這一中心話題而設(shè)計(jì)的。此話題非常貼近學(xué)生生活實(shí)際,學(xué)生會(huì)非常感興趣。在第一課時(shí)里,主要通過“愚公移山”這個(gè)故事展開學(xué)習(xí)。因此在教學(xué)過程中,教師應(yīng)當(dāng)充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性,鼓勵(lì)他們大膽開口,運(yùn)用英語表達(dá)與此話題有關(guān)的內(nèi)容,以此來對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行情感態(tài)度的培養(yǎng),并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極地用英語講出自己所知道的童話故事。二、學(xué)情分析大多數(shù)學(xué)生來自農(nóng)村,學(xué)習(xí)英語的起點(diǎn)低,底子薄,并在初一階段的英語基礎(chǔ)也很薄弱。部分學(xué)生甚至失去了學(xué)習(xí)英語的熱情和信心;還有部分學(xué)生想學(xué)好英語,并且非常努力,只是由于多種因素成績(jī)并不理想;只有少數(shù)學(xué)生還對(duì)英語感興趣,并且大膽開口表現(xiàn)。因此,在教學(xué)中,我通過“愚公移山”這個(gè)傳奇故事的英語教學(xué),鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng),敢于開口說英語,讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)到成功的喜悅,增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)的信心。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1、Knowledge aims:1).讓學(xué)生掌握以下詞匯和短語: Shoot, remind, once upon a time, as soon as, sothat, weak, unless, god, stone, digKeep doing sth., continue to do sth., remind sb, of sth., try to do sth.,2).使學(xué)生能自主使用以下表達(dá)法:The story reminds us that you can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen.Once upon a time, there was/wereAs soon as the man finished talking, Yu Gong said that his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.2、Ability aims:1). The students can get the general ideas of the story by listening.2).To improve the students listening and speaking abilities. 3). To train the students ability of retelling the story.3、Emotional aims:You can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen.Teaching important points:How to retell a story and how to use the conjunctions.四、Teaching importance:1)remind, once upon a time, as soon as, sothat, unless, Keep doing sth., continue to do sth., remind sb, of sth., try to do sth.,2)To gain the students awareness of how to tell a story in English五、Teaching difficulties:How to retell the familiar Chinese story in English .六、Teaching aids:PPT , a recorder,七、Teaching steps:Step 1 :Greeting T: Good morning. Boys and girls.Ss: Good morning. Miss Zeng.T: Do you like listening to stories? Especially Chinese stories?Ss: Yes.T: OK. Lets look at some pictures about our traditional Chinese stories.Step 2:Warming up1、Listen to a song, then guess which story it is about?2、Show some pictures of the Chinese story like“嫦娥奔月,神筆馬良,盤古開天辟地”etc. Ask the students to talk something about the pictures.3、Show the four pictures in 1a. And match the story titles with the pictures1-4.Step3: Presentation & talk1、T: Lets listen to a song and tell me what it is about. (Play the song about “Yu Gong moves a mountain”)Ss: Its about 2、present the new words:T: Today we are going to study the story about“Yu Gong moves a mountain”in English. And learn to tell the story in English. First of tall, please pronounce the new words by yourselves.(Ss first, then the teacher check their pronunciations at last)Step 4: Listening 11、Watch a video, and find out which story Anna and Wang Ming are talking about?(They are talking about “Yu Gong moves a mountain”.)2、Get the students to look and listen again,then check ()the facts they hear.(1b)Step 5: Pair- workTalk about the story “Yu Gong moves a mountain” with your partner.Step 6: Listening 21、 Get the students to listen and number the pictures.(2a)2、 Listen again and circle the words.(2b)3、 Listen again and fill in the blanks.(Check the answers)Step 7: Retell the storyGet students to retell the story of Yu Gong according to the information in 2b.Step8: Show time Ask the Ss to retell the story of Yu Gong Moves the Mountains according to the pictures.Step 9: Exercise用括號(hào)內(nèi)單詞的適當(dāng)形式填空或根據(jù)句意選用所學(xué)適當(dāng)短語完成句子。 1.
