Lets talkHello,everyone.Im Xiong Wen.Its my pleasure to have the opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas.Im going to talk about Part A of unit 6,PEP Primary English,book 6.My topic is “Work quietly”.Lets talk.Now,please allow me to analysis this in the following 6 parts.Part 1 Analysis of teaching materialStatus and FunctionThis book emphasize students interest, experience, combined with the reality, close to life. Teaching objectives1.Knowledge objectives:New words:eating lunch , bamboo , its.Expressions:What are/is .doing?Sentences: What are they doing?Theyre eating lunch.Whats the little monkey doing?Its playing with its mother.2.Ability Objectives:Students can grasp the ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing.3.Moral objectives:Let students know the importance of protectinganimals.Guide them to work together actively and train the spirits of team-work.Key Points and DifficultyKey Points: New words, expressions and some important sentences.Difficulty: The Present Continuous Tense & any.Part 2 Analysis of studentsThe students are grade 5,most of them have strong interests in English study.They are creative.They have own thoughts and a lot of pressure.Part 3 Analysis of teaching methods and learning strategiesAccording to the National English Curriculum, primary school English is to cultivate students communicative ability.So,in this class I mainly use directly method ,picture method , task-based method , situation method , total physical response , communicative method.As to the learning method,I encourage students to participate in the activities with cooperative learning and individual learning.Part 4 Analysis of teaching aidsIn the class,I make full use of multimedia,like recordings,pictures and chart.Here comes to the most important part.Part 5 Teaching procedures.In this part,Ill arrange 5 steps.Step1 Warm upFirst:Greeting.Ill chat with my new students Second:Lets sing.Animals,animals are everywhereDuring the chat,Ill talk about the topic of “Whats your favorite animal?” ,then,we can sing a song about animals.In this way,I can create relax mood and attract interest.At the same time,I can lead students to the new knowledge.Step 2 PresentationThere are many animals in this song.Today,animals get together and have a party.Lets see what it is doing.First,review the present continuous tenseWhat is it doing?The squirrel is eating. The monkey is drinking.The dog is running.The sheep is dancing.And Ill emphasis “表示正在做用動(dòng)詞ing形式”.Second,present the three animals in the story.Ill show students pandas,monkey and elephant.Here,students can learn the key points and difficult points.Here,from favorite animal,to animals party,and to the story,students can learn step by step.I can show the present continuous tense and review the words.I can lead students to new knowledge naturely.Step 3 PracticeWhat about the birds and tiger?Lets listen to the recording.What are Chen Jie and Mike doing?Lets watch the video and answer my questions.Watch the video again and tick the form on students hand.Answer my questions.Here,students can learn the key points with listening,speaking and reading.Step 4 ConsolidationRead the story.Read again.(boys acts as Mike;girls acts as Chen Jie)Fill the blanks.Retell the story.Choose and sayTask time(make a dialogue)With all of these,task-based language teaching is well used to train students communicative ability and turn input to output.Step 5 HomeworkWatch the video and read the story in correct pronunciation and intonation.Do a survey and write down.Preview the words in “Lets learn”.Homework design embodied three grades, from reading to speaking to writing,.It fully embodies the spirit of servicing for students of different levels.And it
