Work on 1a1.Invite different students to read the phrases in 1a. 2.Ask students to match the activities with the pictures. 3.Check the answers by calling different students to share their answers.Step .Listening practice (1b &1c) 1. Pre-listeningRead the instructions to the class and have them know the task well. 2.While-listeningPlay the recording.The students listen and number the people in the picture.3.Post-listeningCheck the answers . Oral practice Ask two students to read the conversations in 1c .Ask students to make their own conversations in pairs.Invite different pairs to share their conversations.Step . Listening practice(2a 2c) 1.Have students know the tasks of the listening. 2.Play the recording at least three times. Students listen and write the answers. 3.Pairwork Students make conversations according to their answers.Check the answers by asking different pairs to share their conversations.Ask students to correct mistakes as needed. 4.Ask students to pay more attention to “anyone,anything” and learn more indefinite pronouns.Step V.Summary Invite students to sum up what they have learnt in this class.
