2、sis of the textbook(說教材),This unit is about Foods and Drinks. This lesson is the first part of this unit and it focus on Reading. It helps students learn different foods and drinks in different cultures by describing a mans experience of eating foods in different countries. After doing some relative

3、 reading exercises, students can practice and strengthen their reading skills-skimming and scanning. The Ss can know some culture background, and increase their communicating ability.,Emotion objective,Through reading, Ss increase their interest in foods and getting more knowledge, and then set up self-confidence in language study. Teaching aids Computer projector blackboard pictures,Teaching methods(教法),According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories , I adopt the TSA method and TBLT method in my teaching , namely total situational action (情景活動教學法) and task-based language teach

8、ing (任務教學法). TSA method is a “scene-activity” teaching method. TBLT method offers the Ss an opportunity to complete the tasks in which Ss use language to achieve a specific outcome. At the same time, make use of the modern electricity, teaching equipment and all kinds of teaching means.,Studying met

9、hods(學法),Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Ss understand the new knowledge in certain degree through the mental process of seeing, hearing, saying , observing, thinking, ect. And make preparation for completing the new study task. After feeling and comprehending the language points

10、 , let Ss obtain the knowledge actively by probe study (探究性學習)and cooperative study (合作性學習).
