Mostly they will talk about music. Music is a very popular topic among the students. It will arouse the childrens great in
2、terest. That will be very helpful to practice using the target language. All the students will make great progress in expressing preferences with the relative clause.二、教學目標Knowledge goals(1) Key Vocabulary: prefer, lyric(2) Target Language: What kind of music do you like?I like music that I can sing
3、 along with.What about you?I prefer music that has great lyricsAbility goals(1) Train the students to express preferences.(2) Train the students listening skill.Emotion goalsLets enjoy music. It always brings us happiness.三、教學方法依據(jù)本節(jié)課的教學目標和學生實際情況,在教學中我將主要采用任務(wù)型教學途徑并充分利用多媒體輔助教學。主要是構(gòu)建高效、互動的師生關(guān)系,使教學過程成為在
4、教師指導(dǎo)下學生主動的、富有個性的學習過程;創(chuàng)設(shè)能引導(dǎo)學生主動參與的教育環(huán)境,激發(fā)學生自主學習的積極性。本節(jié)課在讓學生掌握基礎(chǔ)知識后,又采用任務(wù)型教學途徑,讓學生做調(diào)查匯報、表演對話。學生在這一活動中,對已學知識進行加工,促使學生用英語進行思維,用目標語言合作進行編對話活動,在此過程中,學生對自己的學習策略和情感進行調(diào)整,形成積極的學習態(tài)度,能主動地學習,在潛移默化中把知識轉(zhuǎn)化成技能,促進語言實際運用能力的提高,既突出了重點,又突破了難點,同時小組活動可以降低任務(wù)難度與學生語言學習的焦慮程度,培養(yǎng)學生的合作意識及團隊精神,通過口、筆頭輸出,總結(jié)并了解學生對本單元話題關(guān)鍵詞匯的掌握程度;填寫課堂評
5、價表,引導(dǎo)學生反思自己在課堂上的學習態(tài)度和學習內(nèi)容,以便在后續(xù)學習中更加明確目標、補缺補漏,增強學生學習自信心。四、教學環(huán)境及資源準備1. Preview:Ss get ready for the words and phrases in this unit.2. Make PowerPoint.3. A recorder and a tape.五、教學過程Step Revision(1) Invite different pairs of students to say the conversations learned in preceding classes with books clo
6、sed.(2)Check the answers to the exercises of the workbook by asking different students to say their answers to the Class.(3) Dictate some of the key vocabulary words presented in units 15.Step 1aThis activity introduces the key vocabulary and trains the students to express preferences with the relat
7、ive clause.Writethat are red on the blackboard.Point to it and say a sentence with it, I like flowers that are red. Ask who can make another sentence with it. They may say, I like gloves that are red. I like shoes that are red. Write another phrase on the blackboard, that is big. Help the students t
8、o make sentences with it.Play the tapes of different kinds of music for the students, only a short piece of each tape. Say, I like music that makes me relaxed. Write these four groups of words on the blackboard,that has great lyrics,that I can sing along with,that isnt too loud, that I can dance to.
9、 Tell the students lyrics means the contents of the songs. Ask the students, What kind of music do you like?Say, You can answer with I like music, I love music, I prefer music Explain prefer=likebetter to them. Get one of the children to answer the question, then let this child ask the one next to h
10、im/her the same question. Set off a chain drill.Ask the students to open their textbooks now. Read the instructions of Activity 1a to the students. Make sure they understand everything.First have them look at the pictures and circle the sentences they agree with. Read each sentence to the class and
11、ask the students to raise their hands to see if they agree. Make a survey to find out how the class feels about each item. Discuss the result of the survey with the class.Get the students to complete the sentence to tell what kind of music they enjoy. Ask some of the students to share their sentence

Write any new words or phrases on the board to help them if necessary.Step 1bThis activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.Say, we will hear Tony and Betty talking about the kinds of music each one likes.Lets see the instructions first. Read the
13、 instructions to the students. Tell them to tick () the right statements while they are listening. Read the three headings before playing the tape.Play the tape the first time and the students only listen. Then play it for a second time.
