2、cription words.emotion aim:get the students love and protect the animals.teaching emphasis:the comparison and the uses of adjectives and adverbs.teaching difficulties:the functions of adjectives and adverbs.teaching aids : a multi-media classroom and other normal teaching tools .teaching procedures(

3、教學(xué)程序):presentation one :呈現(xiàn)(一)a. show some animal pictures on the screen and let the students say out as many description words as they can(用盡可能多的詞語描述 屏幕上的動物圖片) . eg : big scary ugly unfriendly dangerous enormous aggressive cute smart beautiful friendly small spotted funny fast gentle playful heavy e

4、ndangered b. ask the students to use the comparison of adjectives or adverbs to describe the pairs of pictures .(使用形容詞或副詞的比較等級描述組圖): the cat is smaller than the tiger .the tiger is bigger than the cat . i think the tiger is more dangerous than the cat .i dont think the cat is as dangerous as the tig

5、er .the horse runs fast /quickly . the horse doesnt run so fast/quickly as the cheetah .the cheetahs run the fastest of all the animals on land .獵豹是跑得最快的陸地動物。the swifts travel most quickly of all the animals .所有動物中,雨燕速度最快 。a bird is better at singing than a horse . the giraffe is the taller of the t

8、he screen(用與畫面相關(guān)的句子總結(jié)): 1形容詞的作用 :(1)作表語,可置形容詞前的系動詞有be , look ,seem , sound , taste, smell , feel , become 等 . the animals seem very happy . (2)作定語修飾名詞 they are happy animals . (3)作賓語補(bǔ)足語(常用于make sb. +adjective結(jié)構(gòu)) the music makes them happy .2形容詞的特殊用法 :(1)“the+比較級, the + 比較級 ” 表示“越. , 越”the more they

9、get together ,the happier they are .(2) 比較級疊加表示“越來越 ” the animals are getting happier and happier .they are more and more excited .(3)一些ing或-ed的形容詞如relaxing和relaxed、fascinating和 fascinated 等,-ing形式通常用來修飾物,-ed形式的主語通常為人物。its such an interesting party that they are very interested at it .(4)不定代詞 +形容詞 ,

10、 形容詞/副詞+enoughoh , theres something funny here .the river horse gives them quite a good laugh .its singing loud enough . (5)一些形容詞如alone ,afraid , ill ,asleep 只能作表語 , 而一些形容詞如lonely , sick ,sleepy 可作表語又可作定語. everyone is here .they arent lonely at all .(6)表示人的性質(zhì)/特征的形容詞前如加定冠詞 , 可作名詞 , 表示一類人。如the rich ,

11、the poor , the old , the young , the sick等。the young are having a great time . consolidation and extension(鞏固與提高)a .do some exercises to improve the students ability about the uses of adjectives and adverbs(快速筆頭提高練習(xí)) .b. oral practice 口頭操練get the students to watch vcd and do an oral practice .the le

12、ss fluent students are wanted to use no less than three sentences to talk about the pictures , while the more advanced students are supposed to make up a story according to the pictures . it can further improve the students ability of using and understanding adjectives and adverbs(看vcd , 練習(xí)說的能力。程度低的

13、學(xué)生可用不少于三句英語描述畫面 ,能力強(qiáng)的學(xué)生則根據(jù)畫面編個故事,進(jìn)一步提高學(xué)生理解和使用形容詞和副詞的能力。).c. writing(寫作練習(xí))choose one of the two compositions to write.(從提供的兩篇寫作練習(xí)中任選一篇)(1)write a similar composition to the given one .(仿寫文章。)(2) write a composition named “ my favorite animal .”.(以“我最喜愛的動物”為題寫一篇文章。)寫作內(nèi)容可涉及:what animal do you like best
