1、unit1 Great Scientists說課稿各位評委老師,上午好!我是 號考生,我今天說課的題目是unit1 Great Scientists。我主要從教材分析、教學(xué)方法與策略 、教學(xué)過程、板書設(shè)計(jì)等幾個(gè)步驟向大家詳細(xì)地講解我對這節(jié)課的安排。一說教材1. 教材內(nèi)容本節(jié)課是人教課標(biāo)版必修5第一單元的第一課時(shí)的Reading部分,是該單元的主要內(nèi)容,它介紹了英國著名醫(yī)生John Snow是如何通過考察、分析、探究的科學(xué)方法,發(fā)現(xiàn)并控制“霍亂”這種傳染病的。通過閱讀課文,使學(xué)生感悟科學(xué)家的周密觀察、勇于探索、認(rèn)真分析的科學(xué)精神,使學(xué)生了解科學(xué)方發(fā)現(xiàn)的全過程具有其科學(xué)的嚴(yán)密性。2. 教學(xué)目標(biāo)結(jié)合

2、單元教學(xué)要求和本課特點(diǎn),充分考慮學(xué)生的年齡特點(diǎn)、認(rèn)知水平,遂將本課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)確定為:知識目標(biāo)1) Get students to learn the useful new words and expressions in this part.2) Let students learn about some great scientists and their contribution.3) Have students read the passage and know about John Snow and how he defeated “King Cholera”.能力目標(biāo)1) Devel

4、ooperative learning.3. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)因?yàn)楸窘M教材的重點(diǎn)了解項(xiàng)目是“John Snow 破解King Cholera難題”, 所以確定本課的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是:1) Let students learn about some great scientists and their contributions.2) Get students to read the passage and know about John Snow and how he defeated “ King Cholera”.3) Have students learn different reading skil

5、ls.4教學(xué)難點(diǎn)考慮到學(xué)生拓展閱讀能力,語言輸出能力等方面還需進(jìn)一步努力,所以將本課的教學(xué)難點(diǎn)確定為:1) Develop students reading ability.2) Enable students to talk about great scientists and tell their stories.3) Let students learn how to organize scientific research.二說教法和學(xué)法1. 教學(xué)方法引導(dǎo)學(xué)生獨(dú)立思考,合作學(xué)習(xí),進(jìn)行師生、生生互動(dòng)的“任務(wù)型”教學(xué),設(shè)計(jì)了許多易于操作的任務(wù)型活動(dòng)。此課主要處理好教學(xué)的三個(gè)階段,即Pre-

6、reading,Reading Post-reading。Pre-reading激活相關(guān)知識,預(yù)測文章內(nèi)容,提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。Reading主要是通過Skimming, Scanning等活動(dòng)理解課文,獲取必要的信息,完成問題。Post-reading主要是讓學(xué)生結(jié)合所學(xué)知識,通過討論、小組合作,發(fā)展與人溝通和與人合作的能力,提高學(xué)生收集信息、整理信息及傳遞信息的能力。2學(xué)法3. 途徑group work, pair work4. 理論依據(jù)“任務(wù)型”教學(xué)強(qiáng)調(diào)的是Learning by doing,學(xué)生通過完成教師設(shè)定的任務(wù)活動(dòng),激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,更有利于發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主體性作用,達(dá)到學(xué)習(xí)和掌握語言的

7、目的。5. 教具準(zhǔn)備多媒體平臺和直觀道具,以擴(kuò)大知識面和求知欲三說教學(xué)過程Step 1 Lead-in1. Show some pictures of famous scientists to students, and ask them to tell their names and contributions.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用學(xué)生較熟悉的著名科學(xué)家的圖片自然而然的引入話題又能激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,活躍課堂氣氛。同時(shí)也使學(xué)生有話可說。Step 2 Warming up1. Ask students to have a discussion in pairs to try to fill in a q

Check the answers with the whole class.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:列出成就讓學(xué)生回答科學(xué)家的名字,讓學(xué)生對科學(xué)家及其成就有正確認(rèn)識。也是對上一環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計(jì)的補(bǔ)充。Step 3 Pre-reading1. Discuss in small groups to put the stages for examining a new scientific idea in a logical order.2. Check the answers with the whole class.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過小組討論

9、,使學(xué)生利用已有知識初步了解得出科學(xué)觀點(diǎn)所需的過程,為下面理解課文奠定基礎(chǔ)。Step 4: Reading1. SkimmingAsk the students to skim the text and try to find the main idea of the passage as soon as possible.(Show 4 choices to them)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過快速閱讀對文章進(jìn)行表層閱讀理解,抓住文章主題。任務(wù)設(shè)置訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生的。2. ScanningGet students to scan the passage, try to get information for

10、detailed questions.(Show them 5 questions, each with 4 choices )設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過第二次閱讀讓學(xué)生就課文材料進(jìn)行找讀,以便進(jìn)一步理解文章,并訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生通過跳讀來捕捉特定信息及處理信息的能力。1. How did he finally prove it?(2) What disease do you think is similar to cholera today?設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過提問聯(lián)系實(shí)際給學(xué)生自助、自悟機(jī)會,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的發(fā)散思維和綜合運(yùn)用語言的能

Group work (Optional activity)Divide the class into three groups. Each group chooses a topic. Divide the topic into eight stages.1) Introduce an experiment in a physics class.2) Introduce an experiment in a chemistry class
