2、d arouse their interest in doing sports.(三) Teaching aims (教學目標)1、Knowledge objects (認知目標).A) Enable the Ss to remember the words and expresses: BC, athlete, compete, Olympia, married, host, Olympic, amazed, represent,compete against every four years, Good point, take place, be amazed at.B) Get the

3、Ss to Learn to talk about the history of the Olympics.C) Help Ss to know more about the Olympics.2、Ability objects (智能目標).A) To improve the Ss oral-speaking abilities.B) To improve the Ss awareness and ability of cross-culture.C) To cultivate their ability to discover, analyze and solve problems.3、M

4、oral objects (德育目標).Arouse their interest in learning English;(四) Teaching Important Points (教學重點)1) Master the words and phrases.2) Talk about the history of the Olympics.(五) Teaching Difficult Points(教學難點)How to get the Ss talk about the history of the Olympics.Part Two:Teaching methods (教法)1. Mul

It can help the students be interested in the lesson and learn the lesson happily and easily.2、Encouragement and praise.3. “Task-based” teaching method.“Task-based” language teaching has been one of the most important foreign teaching approaches during these years. The New English

6、 Curriculum requires teachers to use it .Its an effective and advanced teaching approach. Its widely used in many different countries.Part Three: Learning methods (學法)As an English teacher, your duty is not only to teach the students some English knowledge, but also to raise their skills of learning

7、 and using English.1. Teach Ss how to be successful language learners.2. Teach Ss how to describe something3. Get the Ss to form good learning habits. Such as:Cooperation and competition-Students cooperate and compete with each other by working in groups.Part Four: Teaching Aids(教具)Multi-media compu

8、ter, courseware(課件), the students pictures.Part Five: Analysis of the students (學生分析)The students are in Grade Eight now, and they have some interests of learning and speaking English, they are willing to cooperate and communicate with others in class, especially this lesson is related to their favo

9、rite topic-sports. I think its easy for them to learn the lesson and they will take an active part in the activities in class.Part Six: Teaching procedures(教學過程)Step I.
