1、MODULE 9 TEACHING PLANContent: Module 9 Story time Junior 1, New standard EnglishUnit 1 Once upon a time 一 教學內(nèi)容及學情分析:本節(jié)課以童話故事金鳳花姑娘和三只小熊為題材,展開聽說訓練,目的培養(yǎng)學生參與用英語講故事的能力。通過操練,使學生在掌握語言結(jié)構(gòu)的同時,既學習語言知識,感悟語言功能,又能欣賞到美麗的童話故事。這也符合初一學生的年齡特點。二 教學目標:1 情感目標:通過用英語講童話故事,激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣。2 語言知識目標:根據(jù)學生實際,把下列幾項定為本節(jié)課的目標( 1)詞匯及短語
2、:會正確使用下列詞匯短語once, decide, ride, golden, pick, notice, hurry, knock, nobody, push, enter, count, bowl, hungry, once upon a time, go for a ride學會規(guī)則動詞的過去式的發(fā)音3 語言技能目標:能聽懂故事中主要人物及大意。能用所學短語及動詞的過去式講故事。4 文化意識了解外國童話故事,培養(yǎng)跨文化意識。5 學習策略通過聽說活動解決問題。三 教學重難點:重點:能聽懂故事中主要人物及大意。理解動詞的一般過去時句子的用法,能根據(jù)圖片復述故事。難點:學會描述一個完整的故事或
3、一件事情。四 教學方法:根據(jù)以上目標,用童話故事的情節(jié)吸引學生導入新課。以聽金鳳花姑娘的故事來引出一系列問題,讓學生帶著問題聽故事,通過解決一系列問題達到運用目標詞匯和短語用一般過去時講故事的目的(黃麗燕2003) 。為實現(xiàn)以上目標設計了幾個活動。鞏固目標1 . 加入寫的練習。為把目標落到實處,我在教學中加入寫的練習。就課文內(nèi)容做重點詞匯過去式填空練習。2 .拓展練習。給圖片講白雪公主的故事。達到培優(yōu)的目的。五 教學用具多媒體 隨堂練習卷花籃 小紙杯 紙花六 教材處理由于我校實行導學案教學,單詞和詞匯及動詞過去式已經(jīng)在預習案中做過處理,在預習卷中我們就課文內(nèi)容設置了一些問題,這些問題在預習中已
4、基本解決。因此,這一節(jié)課主要是通過聽說鞏固和使用目標詞匯和短語。根據(jù)新課程標準中指出教學中應增加開放性任務型的活動,我設計了一些活動,讓學生在活動中習得知識。我把課本活動順序做了些調(diào)整,把活動 2 拆分成兩部分,一部分用來導入新課,放在教學第一步,另一部分和活動5, 7 結(jié)合在一張幻燈片上放到一起練習。把活動6 放到活動4 前面,目的是把所有問題解決之后再讓學生聽讀,體會講故事應該運用的語音語調(diào)。七 教學過程Step one : Lead in:1 .Teacher says : Would you like to listen to stories?Show a picture of Sno
5、w White, asks when did it happen?Lead in once upon a time 2 . look at a picture of GoldilocksTeacher asks 1. who was Goldilocks?2. where was she?lead -in new words little golden forest write them on the board.3.write down on the left hand of board.When once upon a time WhoGoldilocks?Step two: listen
6、ing1.Teacher says : Would you like to listen to this story?First, let s read aloud these sentences.Students repeat after teacher.Talk about new words bear decided toLived in go for a ride2 .Listen and then check the true sentencesplay the recording and have them listen to the recording and focus on
7、the sentences first time through.3 .check the true sentences with the whole class.Step three: match the words with the pictures.1 .Teacher says : Goldilocks decided to go for a walk in the forest , do you want to what happened in the forest?Was she lost? Write what happened on the left hand of the b

Look at the pictures and match, then give the past forms.2.Students look at the pictures and match the words individually.3.check the answers with the whole class and read aloud the past forms.Step four: listen and number the pictures in the correct order.1. Teacher says : Goldilocks walked in

Can yougive the correct order after listening?2. students listen and number the picture while listening individually.3. check the answers with the whole class.Step five: watch a video about Goldilocks.1 .Teacher says : Would you like to watch this story?First, let s read al

Talk about new words hungry bowl small room2 .watch and then check the true sentences3 .check the answers with the whole class.Step six: listen and read1. Teacher says: let s read aloud this story.2. Play the recording and pause after each phrase, a
11、sk the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually.Step seven: speaking1. Teacher says : close your books. Challenge your memory. Can you retell this story according to the pictures?2.students tell the story according to the pictures, run through the story with the class,eliciting different parts of it
12、from different Ss.3 .Circulate and monitor production, paying special attention to the use of the past simple tense.4 . write key phases on the board. She picked 2 .Students take turns to retell the story in pairs according to first four pictures. Teacher circulate and remind them of
14、past forms and they should useonce upon a time 3 .Give next eight pictures, play a chain game in groups. Students retell the story in order as quickly as possible, one students record the time of each group.4 .Show the results of each group.Step nine: writing practice.1. Teacher says: Can you fill i
15、n the blanks according to the story.2. students fill in the blanks individually.3. check the answers with the whole class.Step ten: act out.1.Teacher says: lest act out the story in groups.2.students act out the story in front of the class.Step eleven: tell the story Snow White1 .Teacher says: tell
16、Snow White according to the pictures.2 .students tell the story using the phases on the board.Step twelve: conclusion.1.
