5、mselfcuthis face。以整體代替部分是英語中的一種修辭格,叫提喻(merism /'merim/)。語法 Grammar in use1副詞副詞(adverb)這個(gè)詞的本意是補(bǔ)充動(dòng)詞的意義。這就是許多副詞的作用。它們可以通過修飾動(dòng)詞告訴我們有關(guān)句中某個(gè)動(dòng)作的情況,也就是告訴我們某事是如何、何時(shí)、何地等發(fā)生或進(jìn)行的。副詞可以是單個(gè)的詞(如 slowly)或詞組(如 very well)。單一副詞既有以-ly結(jié)尾的也有不以-ly結(jié)尾的(如 quickly, fast)。形容詞向副詞的轉(zhuǎn)換一般遵循3個(gè)規(guī)則:(1)在形容詞后面直接加-ly,如:quick-quicklyhurrie
