1、旅游英語教學(xué)大綱執(zhí)筆人: 藥朝霞審核人:王劍珊編撰日期:2008年3月一課程性質(zhì)Course Description:本課程為職業(yè)延展課, 共36學(xué)時, 開設(shè)一學(xué)期(按教學(xué)計劃,安排在第四學(xué)期開設(shè));教學(xué)對象是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)高職高專二年級學(xué)生二 課程教學(xué)目標(biāo) Teaching Objectives:是商務(wù)英語一門實用型選修課程,面向旅游行業(yè)第一線,旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生較強(qiáng)的旅游接待能力,能夠為將來成為高素質(zhì)技能型旅游行業(yè)英語人才打下基礎(chǔ)。三大技能并重,即語言技能,知識技能和職業(yè)應(yīng)用技能.通過系統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)旅游涉及的英語詞匯,會話, 及旅游知識, 使學(xué)生了解旅游接待所包含項目和分類,掌握一定旅游知識, 提高旅

2、游會話能力, 及提高其它涉及旅游的講解演示能力及口譯筆譯能力.在本課程結(jié)束時, 能就不同的旅游情景進(jìn)行恰當(dāng)?shù)慕徽? 能就旅游話題及名勝古跡進(jìn)行連貫介紹表達(dá), 語音語法基本正確, 語言基本得體。 English for Tourism is a practical course designed to guide and help learners to enhance their integrated skills and knowledge in the tourism and prepare them to go to the front line of the tourism. The

3、course aims at mastering the basic oral English skills as a tourist guide. It will cover a range of topics in different contexts that concerns tourism activities. Students will be able to build up their vocabulary in tourism English and develop their communication skills in different contexts as a t

4、our guide. Furthermore, students will be able to give introduction or make presentations on certain scenic spots. 三 教學(xué)內(nèi)容設(shè)計使用趙寶國等主編的21世紀(jì)實用旅游英語教程(學(xué)林出版社出版)或高等教育出版社出版的由教育部旅游英語教材編寫組編寫的旅游英語,均為高職高專教材;含有閱讀,聽說,實用會話等;教材包含十四個單元,每個單元圍繞一個涉及旅游游接待的主題。課程內(nèi)容設(shè)計中心思想:“工學(xué)結(jié)合”,教學(xué)實訓(xùn)緊緊圍繞未來工作崗位的需要。本課程內(nèi)容可根據(jù)旅游業(yè)職業(yè)崗位要求整合分為三大模塊:(1

5、)模塊一: 英語導(dǎo)游服務(wù):包括導(dǎo)游操作的主要步驟,設(shè)計行程,接團(tuán),城市旅游以及沿途(車上)導(dǎo)游,觀光導(dǎo)游服務(wù),送團(tuán)服務(wù)等。(2) 模塊二: 涉及旅游接待的飯店服務(wù)英語包括客房預(yù)訂、團(tuán)隊及散客登 記入住??头糠?wù),餐飲服務(wù),客人投訴解決,結(jié)賬離店等。(3) 模塊三: 導(dǎo)游講解所涉及的旅游景點(diǎn)及文化知識主要包括:節(jié)日文化,飲食文化,旅游自然風(fēng)光與人文景觀,建筑與宗教寺廟等。課程緊緊圍繞旅游六大要素:吃,住,行,游,購,娛;以崗位應(yīng)用技能(前兩大模塊為重點(diǎn)),選擇重點(diǎn)單元,并補(bǔ)充新單元及拓展實訓(xùn)材料。The text book consists of 14 units. Each unit focu

6、ses on a topic which is presented by reading passages, practical writing and situational dialogues. The content covers the important areas of tourist reception which will develop students oral communication skills as well as interpretation skills of English in tourism. It creates the real-world envi

7、ronment to encourage the learners to communicate in a spontaneous manner and increase their listening and speaking . The reading passage of each unit helps the learner practise their reading skills through reading a variety of articles in the field of tourism. Therefore, the learners will broaden th

8、eir cultural knowledge of tourism. The writing aims to enhance the basic writing skills in tourism activities. Listening and dialogues creates the real-world environment to encourage the learners to communicate in a spontaneous manner and increase their listening and oral conversational skills, as w

9、ell as interpretation skills in different contexts in tourism.It creates the real-world environment to encourage the learners to communicate in a spontaneous manner and increase their listening and speaking。 Supplementary units are designed for practical use.四.教學(xué)理念和方法1.設(shè)計組織形式多樣的教學(xué)活動,如項目教學(xué)、角色扮演、案例教學(xué)和

10、模擬教學(xué)等;強(qiáng)調(diào)情境教學(xué),教學(xué)過程應(yīng)遵循職業(yè)崗位流程要求,情境性原則,力圖實現(xiàn)職業(yè)氛圍,要使教學(xué)情境化,盡量為學(xué)生提供練習(xí)語言知識和交際技能的機(jī)會使學(xué)生在教學(xué)活動中學(xué)會與自己、與教師、與他人、與情境對話。2.課堂教學(xué)注重課堂互動; 激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣. 在面授、課堂討論中,教師充分發(fā)揮課堂教學(xué)管理者、促進(jìn)者和信息、反饋、幫助的提供者的作用。 (This course is designed to be learner-centered and teaching and learning will be conducted through a lot of interaction at diff

11、erent levels. There will be a proportion of group work and pair work appropriate to the native of activities in the class. Flexible and various activities will be conducted to arouse the learners interests and keep their attention, for example, sharing time; research project, pair work, group discus

12、sion, pop quiz time, , role-plays, simulations, and presentations, etc. The teachers role is to facilitate, stimulate and support activities where learners participate actively and creatively in learning. )教學(xué)模式: IEPE(Inspiring/InteractingExploring/ExpandingPractising/Presenting-Evaluating)教學(xué)模式; 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生

13、拓展思維和自我學(xué)習(xí)及旅游交際環(huán)境中綜合應(yīng)用能力,體現(xiàn)教,學(xué),做融為一體; (1)Inspiring/Interacting: 老師充分啟發(fā)學(xué)生的思維,積極保持課堂的互動性,激發(fā)興趣,并調(diào)動積極性。 (2)Exploring/Expanding: 學(xué)生在布置任務(wù)或項目后, 能積極開展探究活動, 并在完成任務(wù)時拓展知識和技能;另外引導(dǎo)學(xué)生主動積極地利用現(xiàn)有圖書資料和網(wǎng)上信息獲取知識,并使學(xué)生在運(yùn)用知識的過程中培養(yǎng)各種能力。(Furthermore, guide students to take initiatives to find different resources to expand th

At the same time, they enhance the ability in applying what they have learned.)(3)Practising/presenting (including a lot of simulations and presentations)以導(dǎo)游英語口語交際理念和技能為主,邊學(xué)邊練,反復(fù)運(yùn)用,大量模擬仿真操練演示, Examples (sharing, group research project)(4) Evaluating在有效時間內(nèi)及

15、時對學(xué)生的活動做出快速反饋和評價, 事先準(zhǔn)備評價標(biāo)準(zhǔn)及要求(including peer evaluation). 五教學(xué)重點(diǎn):實訓(xùn)是教學(xué)重點(diǎn),因此要查找資料,搭建實訓(xùn)教學(xué)體系,具體操作如下:有計劃分步驟進(jìn)行實踐教學(xué),開學(xué)初班級分組,鼓勵合作學(xué)習(xí),同學(xué)互評, 突出“學(xué)以致用”, 針對教材一些相對不足之處,將長對話挑重點(diǎn)改為導(dǎo)游解說詞,自編師訓(xùn)大綱或參考資料 補(bǔ)充更實用的單元或內(nèi)容。(廈門及酒店單元)A new unit “Xiamen”is to be designed, the purpose for designing this unit is to let students make p
