1、Unit 6 Natural disasters第三課時備課時間:20012年 月 日 授課時間:教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1讀懂文章,了解臺灣地震的基本情況。2培養(yǎng)學(xué)生根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞和語境猜測大意的能力。3進(jìn)一步理解、應(yīng)用過去進(jìn)行時。4引導(dǎo)教育學(xué)生應(yīng)學(xué)會在自然災(zāi)害中自我保護(hù)。教學(xué)內(nèi)容: 句型:I was doing some shopping when it started Some people screamed because they were very frightened People were running wildly while pieces of glass and bricks were
2、 falling down I thought somebody could hear me but no one came for a very long time I was trying to find my way out when I suddenly heard some noise above meI could not see anything at all and I did not know if anyone was around me A moment of fear went through my mind but I told myself to calm down
3、 since 1 was still alive教學(xué)重點: 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞和語境猜測大意的能力。難點突破: 引導(dǎo)教育學(xué)生應(yīng)學(xué)會在自然災(zāi)害中自我保護(hù)。教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備1教學(xué)掛圖(地震錄像) 2錄音機(jī) 3多媒體教學(xué)步驟Step I閱讀1再次播放錄音,學(xué)生跟讀,要求學(xué)生注意正確的發(fā)音。每段朗讀結(jié)束后,就該段內(nèi)容提問,檢查他們對各段落的理解。對于能力一般的學(xué)生,多媒體顯示問題。Para1:What was Timmy doing when the earthquake started? 6、m)2讓學(xué)生自己朗讀課文,鼓勵學(xué)生用動作、表情和語調(diào)表現(xiàn)出地震現(xiàn)場的情境。然后請幾位學(xué)生為全班朗讀課文。3讓學(xué)生看課本第97頁C部分圖片,朗讀方框中的句子,復(fù)習(xí)其中較難的單詞,如trapped,screamed,thunder等。讓學(xué)生自己將句子填入空格處,然后全班一起核對答案。核對答案時請能力較強(qiáng)的學(xué)生加入更多的細(xì)節(jié),如:(Picture 4)I was trapped under walls and bricks,and I could not get outI was frightened as it was dark around me and I did not know where
7、 I was4請學(xué)生將圖片按事件發(fā)生的先后排序。然后把學(xué)生分成四人小組,要求根據(jù)圖片復(fù)述整個故事。最后請幾位學(xué)生在全班面前復(fù)述故事。5請學(xué)生完成課本第96頁B2部分練習(xí),然后請學(xué)生朗讀日記,集體核對答案。Step II練習(xí)1教師講解重要的單詞、詞組與句型。 以下問題: (1)Where were you when the earthquake started?(1 was in a shopping centre) (2)What were you doing?(1 was doing some shopping) (3)What did you feel and hear at first?

10、小組,聯(lián)系自己了解的或是經(jīng)歷過的自然災(zāi)害展開討論,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生增強(qiáng)自我保護(hù)的意識。教師可以利用投影儀或多媒體提供以下問題,幫助學(xué)生展開思路。 (1)Is it safe to run wildly during an earthquake?
