1、八年級(上) Im going to study computer science. Section B (1a-1e)長超中學 施勤英一、學情分析學生已經在SectionA復習和學習了一些關于職業(yè)的詞匯,已經會用“be going to do”的形式來談論將來的計劃以及打算怎樣實現(xiàn)目標。而本課時只是話題改成了“New Years resolution”,句式基本不變。對學生來說應該比較容易掌握,所以我把下一課時閱讀文本中的部分新詞匯和句型等知識點提到這一課時先呈現(xiàn)并疏通,為下一課時作好鋪墊,減輕了學生學習的壓力。本課時通過學生的說到聽再到大量的操練,學生口語表達的內容范圍更廣,綜合運用語言能

2、力更強。二、教學目標 1.語言技能目標(1)能夠談論新年計劃或決心以及為實現(xiàn)這一目標而做出努力。如:Next year, Im going to learn to play the piano. Im going to take piano lessons.(2)能用英語談論新年計劃或決心,提高聽說讀寫能力。2.語言知識目標(1) 能掌握以下單詞:resolution, team, paint,foreign, able, be able to, discuss, promise, physical, have to do with; self-improvement, take up, ho

3、bby, write down(2) 能掌握以下句式結構: What are you going to do next year? Im going to take guitar lessons. Sounds interesting./ Sounds like a good plan.Many resolutions have to do with self-improvement. Theyre going to take up a hobby like painting. Sometimes the resolutions may be too difficult to keep. 3.

4、情感態(tài)度目標(1) 通過談論新年制定的計劃與決心和怎樣實現(xiàn)這一目標,鼓勵學生要為自己定下的目標堅持下去,不要輕易放棄。學生能考慮自己今后的目標和人生目標,及早為將來做準備,樹立正確的價值觀和人生觀。(2)學生有學習英語的強烈興趣,樂于參加各種活動的積極情感,善于合作,培養(yǎng)團結協(xié)作精神。三、教學重難點1.教學重點(1)掌握本課時出現(xiàn)的生詞及句式結構。(2)進行聽力訓練,提高綜合聽說能力。 2.教學難點(1)聽力訓練。(2)提前解決2b中的部分單詞和知識點。 四、教學過程. Warming- up and revision1. Brain storming Jobs: teacher, nurse

5、, doctor, actor, actress, runner, basketball player, pilot, waiter, computer programmer, pianist, scientist, violinist 設計意圖:學生們可以以小組為單位進行比賽,看哪一組說出來的職業(yè)最多。小組合作,全班分享,既復習了第一課時所學,又激發(fā)了學生學英語的興趣,以飽滿的情緒學習新的知識。2.Lets talk(Revision)A: What do you want to be when you grow up?B: I want to be a /anA: How are you

6、going to do that?B: Im going to 設計意圖:讓學生們依次說出他們的理想及打算如何去做。(可以用大屏幕提示職業(yè)或用學生們自己的真實理想),既是復習鞏固,又為新課做準備。 . Presentation1.T: Do you have any New Years Resolutions? Whats your New Years Resolution?S1: Im going to get lots of exercise. Im going to make a basketball team. S2: Im going to learn another foreign

7、 language. Im going to learn French. S3: Let Ss say as many resolutions as they can.T:Well-done! All of you made good wishes or plans for next year, and among these resolutions, (1)some are about physical health.(2)Many have to do with self-improvement. (take up a hobby)(3)Some have to do with bette

Let Ss try remember these resolutions and think of other resolutions. 設計意圖:因為本課

9、時的新單詞較少,而下一個閱讀課文本中有相當多的新單詞和知識點,因此可以把詞匯作分散處理,部分句型和知識點在這一課時就已呈現(xiàn),減輕了下一節(jié)課的負擔,為下一課時作鋪墊。. Practice 1.Match the picture with the New Years Resolutions. 16、清他們的New Years resolutions是什么?注意力放在“是什么”上;第二遍要聽清他們打算如何做來實現(xiàn)他們各自的New Years resolutions;因此,同學們在聽的時候應將注意力放在“如何做”上。最后,在把聽力材料改編成report的形式,可以提高學生的聽說讀寫總和語言運用能力。. Group work 1.Work in groups.
