11、s With DisabilitiesAll students with disabilities participate in the statewide assessment program by taking one of the following: FCAT/FCAT 2.0 without accommodations,FCAT/FCAT 2.0 with accommodations, orFlorida Alternate Assessment.All determinations regarding participation in the statewide assessm
12、ent program must be documented in the students IEP or Section 504 plan.See Appendix A of the manual for information regarding accommodations.Students to be TestedDESIGNING AN EFFECTIVE SCHOOL WIDE TESTING PLANPHYSICAL PLANTIdentify testing areas in your school by grade levelKeep in mind testing time
13、 intervals by grade level to facilitate traffic flow throughout your test dayGrade levels not in testing mode should be separated as much as possible from testing groups in your building, in order to avoid disruptions throughout the test dayCreate a cleaning schedule for custodiansShut down automati
14、c bells, check air conditioners to ensure they work, ensure adequate lightingTESTING ROOMSSurvey each of the testing rooms to ensure that the desks and chairs are appropriate for students during testing sessionRemove broken items and replace as neededSurvey testing rooms for appropriate fixtures suc
15、h as sharpeners and lightingEstablish deadline to clear walls and set up testing conditions in tested roomsKeep in mind requirements of I.E.P.s for testing materials such as large print exams, large calculatorsTESTING TEAMIdentify your test administrators and test proctorsGroup your test administrat
16、ors test proctors by subject areas and grade levelsAssign test administrators to appropriate students as neededPlan with your team by holding a faculty meeting with all your school personalReview the test schedule, lunch schedule, bathroom procedures, and emergency procedures with your staffHave you
17、r staff sign for their attendance at this planning meeting to ensure that everyone is fully vested in the process and its importanceTEST SECURITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALSKeep a log maintaining who has entered in and out of the testing materials roomBe sure testing materials room does not have a
18、 crawl space in the ceiling between roomsDistrict allows no more than three keys to the testing materials room. The Principal and Test Chairperson are the designated persons with keys assignedBins are provided for teachers with subtest(s) listed for that dayIts important to match security numbers on
19、 tests, count, recount, sign in and out, and have teachers initial Test Security Log verifying information is correct.Swat Team/Relief Team of administrators to cover classes when teachers need to return the students tests/ test materialsUse Testing or Done Testing or Stop or Go signs on outside of
20、doors to indicate when testing is doneELECTRONIC DEVICESEncourage Test Administrator to establish rapport with students in order to enforce the Electronic Device PolicyStaff should not have electronic devices turned on vibrate. It must be completely turned off. Staff members should cell phones or be
21、 checking emailSchool micro technician/computer specialist shut down all computers after attendance in Grade Book has been updated by all staffUnplug the school phones in the classroom to ensure no one calls into the roomZiploc bags or a large envelope along with masking tape should be provided and
22、placed in teacher bins for Test Administrators to store electronic devices. Students names are to be placed on the electronic device using the masking tapeCell phones are to be turned off and placed in students book bags. The book bags are kept at the front of the room.Set up a Connect Ed message to Parents explaining Electronic Device policy Have a plan in place for any student that does not want
