1、Starter Unit 2 Whats this in English?教案 Teaching and Learning Goals:In our life, we must touch some things. E.g.: pen, ruler, map, etc. This class we will learn some things we can use in our life .Say it in English .and we will try our best to remember them .So this class we will learn the words in
2、starter unit 2 and try to use them . Teaching and learning steps:Step 1 Learn to read the words by listening first In our countryside, Students in Grade 7 have poor English .they cant write the letters right, and they cant say the letters from Aa to Zz. So first they must try to listen to the tape,
3、then read after the tape, try to remember them according to the picture. Sometimes teacher can lead them to read.put some picture of the words and ask students to guess what it is.Play the tape, let students listen and try to repeat.Let students read by themselves, sometimes teacher can lead to read
4、.Students read the words to hisher deskmate, and then read in group. Ask the other students to correct for them. Step 2 Learn to remember words Remember the words by looking at pictures.In this unit, some words can learn by looking at the picture. this can make students have more interests in Englis

6、spell ,pleaseA: Whats this in English?B: Its aan A: Spell it, please.B: M-A-PRemember the words by their similar usage. a, an 均為冠詞,用法類似但有不同,a用于以輔音開頭的單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前,而an 用于以元音開頭的單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前。this 、that 均為指示代詞,this 指近物而that 指遠(yuǎn)物。Remember the words by their Chinese. 什么 是 英語 Step 3 Consolidation of words Let students
7、 check the words in pairs, one say Chinese and the other say English and spell it. If someone cant say correctly, ask the teacher or the other students to teach.Let someone to say in class and spell. Step 4 read the story and try to translateThis is Cindys room. Im fine, thanks. How are you? Im OK. 通過練習(xí),學(xué)生對starter unit 1中的日常用語進(jìn)行了鞏固,同時活躍的氣氛讓學(xué)生放松對英語學(xué)生產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣。Have a game.Have a guessing g
15、ame .put up some parts of the letters, ask “whats this?” let students guess.主要是復(fù)習(xí)所學(xué)的字母,以卡片的形式進(jìn)行。Step 2 Listening2a Listen and learn the pronunciation of the letters. Listen again and try to repeat. Say and practice the pronunciation of the letters.2b listen and number the letters you hear. Students

Let students recite the letters.通過聽,讓學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確的掌握字母的讀音,并有效的提高了聽力水平,然后讓學(xué)生通過競賽的方式來背誦字母,有效的激發(fā)了其進(jìn)取心,提高了學(xué)習(xí)效率。Step 3 Writing-practice 2c Learn to write the letters. Put a letter “Ii” on TV. Ask “whats this?” Lead students answer “Its Ii.” let them know t
