3、動詞+副詞”型短語,含義豐富常見用法如下:二次備課接電話撿起;拾起整理;收拾意外發(fā)現(xiàn);學(xué)到;獲得搭載客人;駕車去接(某 人);在中途搭載 remind 提醒The phone rang but he didnt pick up.電話鈴響了,但他沒有接電話。You should pick up the paper.你應(yīng)該把紙撿起來。Lets pick up the living room.讓我們一起來收拾一下客廳吧。Looking through the evening paper last night, I pick up a wonderful poem.昨晚在瀏覽晚報時,我意外發(fā)現(xiàn)了一首好

4、詩。 Shall I pick you up at the station?我去車站接你好嗎?(1)remind sb to do sth 意為“提醒某人做某事”,動詞不定式所表示的動作 尚未發(fā)生。eg. Please remind me to post these letters.(2)remind sb of意為“是某人想起.”有時也接介詞 about,意為“提醒某人想起關(guān)于某事”eg. The film reminded me of my school life.If I forget, please remind me about it.如果我忘了,請?zhí)嵝盐摇#?)remind sb.

5、+ 從句,意為“提醒某人”。eg. Please remind me that I should bring him a present for his birthday. marry 用作及物動詞,意為“嫁;娶;與結(jié)婚”。常用于以下結(jié)構(gòu)中: (1)marry sb. 意為“和某人結(jié)婚;嫁給某人”(2)marryto意為“將嫁給”拓展:(1)get married 意為“結(jié)婚”;(2)be/get married to 意為“和結(jié)婚” (3)marry 和 get married 都是非延續(xù)性動詞,不能與表示一段時間的狀語連用,如果表示結(jié)婚一段時間,應(yīng)該用 be married。 have t

6、rouble doing sth. 意為“做某事有困難”,相當(dāng)于 have difficulty doing sth.。trouble, difficulty 前可以用 some, much, little, no 等修飾。eg. I had no difficulty making myself understood.我毫不費(fèi)力地表達(dá)了我自己的想法。拓展: (1)have a difficult time (in) doing sth. 意為“做某事很困難”其中的 difficult 可以換成 hard;(2)have some problems doing sth. 意為“做某事遇到麻煩”

7、。此句型 也可以表示“做某事有困難”。用法和前面的句型同義。 when 和 while(1)when 既可以指某一點(diǎn)時間,也可以指某一段時間,其從句謂語動詞表 示的動作既可以是瞬間性的、非延續(xù)性的,又可以是延續(xù)性的,可與主句中的 謂語動詞同時發(fā)生,也可以在其后發(fā)生。如:I was just reading a book when she came into my room.她走進(jìn)我的房間時,我 正在看書。(2)while 指一段時間,從句中的謂語動詞必須是延續(xù)性的,而且也只能與 主句中的謂語動詞同時發(fā)生或存在。即:指一段時間時,when 可用 while 代替; 指瞬間時間時,when 不能用

8、 while 來代替。如:While Jim was mending his bike, Lin Tao came to see him.(3)when 和 while 的區(qū)別還在于:while 引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句多用進(jìn)行時態(tài), 而 when 引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句多用一般時態(tài)。如:While they were talking, the bell rang.= They were talking when the bell rang. 【活學(xué)活用】1. I beat John at chess yesterday. voice, sound 和 noise(1)voice 側(cè)重于人的聲音(說話、唱歌),有時也指鳥鳴聲。表示不同種 類的聲音時為不可數(shù)名詞。如:She has a sweet voice.(2)sound 表示能聽見的聲音。如:Sound travels fast, but light travels faster. (3)noise 指“不和諧、不

17、悅耳”的噪音。如:Dont make any noise in thereading room. as soon as “一就”,引導(dǎo)的從句常用一般現(xiàn)在時,主句用將來時。e.g. Ill visit you as soon as I come back. unless “如果不,除非”,它可以轉(zhuǎn)化為“ifnot”結(jié)構(gòu)。e.g. He wont finish the work unless he works hard. sothat“如此以至于”,引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句,so 后側(cè)重于強(qiáng)調(diào)形容 詞或副詞。e.g. She is so tired that she cant go any further
