一、狀語從句的定義狀語從句（AdverbialClause）是指句子用作狀語時(shí)，起副詞作用的句子。狀語從句可以修飾謂語、非謂語動(dòng)詞、定語、狀語或整個(gè)句子。二、狀語從句的分類狀語從句種類連詞時(shí)間狀語從句when,while,as,till,until，before,after,assoonas,since地點(diǎn)狀語從句where，wherever,everywhere條件狀語從句if,unless,aslongas,incase,ifonly讓步狀語從句though,although,evenif/eventhough，whatever,however,nomatter+疑問詞原因狀語從句because,since,as,nowthat,seeingthat，consideringthat,inthat,giventhat目的狀語從句sothat，inorderthat結(jié)果狀語從句sothat，so...that..such…that..比較狀語從句as...as....,than方式狀語從句asif/asthough,(just)as三、時(shí)間狀語從句1.引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句的連詞從屬連詞用法例句While＂與……同時(shí)，在……期間＂，從句常用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞或表示狀態(tài)的詞注：while有表轉(zhuǎn)折含義WhilewewerewatchingTV,thelightsuddenlywentout.Iwasdoingmyhomeworkwhilemybrotherwasplayinggames.When＂當(dāng)……時(shí)＂，表示主句的動(dòng)作和從句的動(dòng)作同時(shí)或先后發(fā)生，從句的動(dòng)詞可用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞，也可用非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞IwasthinwhenIwasachild.WewerewatchingTV,whensuddenlythelightwentout.As＂正當(dāng)，一邊……一邊，隨著＂，表示兩個(gè)動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生或某事發(fā)生時(shí)，另一個(gè)動(dòng)作發(fā)生了Astimewenton,histheoryprovedtobecorrect.

Shesanghappilyasshewalkedalongthelake.Till/Until用于肯定句時(shí)，表示＂直到……為止＂，主句必須為延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞；not...until/till表示＂直到……才＂，主句常用短暫性動(dòng)詞Weshallwaituntil/tillhecomesback.

Since＂自……以來＂，主句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)，從句用一般過去時(shí)IhaveheardlotsofgoodthingsaboutyousinceIcamebackfromabroad.ItisthreeyearssinceIcamehere.Before在……以前Hemustfinishalltheworkbeforehegoeshome.
