“你沒必要這么說,“我妻子回答說,“我也不必提醒你昨天買的那條糟糕透了的領(lǐng)帶.“

“我覺得它好看,“我說,“男人有多少領(lǐng)帶也不會嫌多.“

“女人有多少帽子也不嫌多.“她回答.

needn'thavedone原本不必做,但是做了,強調(diào)過去的動作不必做

Youneedn’thavecome.你原本不必來的。

(情態(tài)動詞，有時和動詞的完成形式構(gòu)成謂語，表示“應(yīng)當(dāng)已經(jīng)做過某事”、“想必已經(jīng)做過”的含義。）

情態(tài)動詞must和need

must

(1)表示“必須”或“應(yīng)該”做某事

needn’t=don’thaveto不必

mustn’t不允許

在回答由must引起的問題時，如果作否定的回答，不能用mustn’t,而需用needn’t或don’haveto，因為mustn’t是“一定不要”、“不準(zhǔn)”的意思。

must與haveto的最大區(qū)別在于：當(dāng)表示過去某時不得不做完了某事，只能用hadtodosth.

need

(1)作情態(tài)動詞，表示“需要”，主要用于否定句及疑問句，肯定句用must,haveto,should,oughtto.
