thecampusarehisoriginalcreations.

ThestyleofthecampusisquitedifferentfromthatofmostChinese

universities.Manyvisitorswereamazedbythecomplexarchitectural

spaceandabundantbuildingtypes.Thecurves（曲線）ofthebuildings

perfectlymatchtheriseandfallofhills,formingauniqueview.

Wangcollectedmorethan7millionabandonedbricksofdifferent

ages.Heaskedtheworkerstousetraditionaltechniquestomakethe

bricksintowalls,roofsandcorridors.Thiscreationattractedalotof

attentionthankstoitsmixtureofmodernandtraditionalChinese

elements（元素）.

Wang'sworksshowadeepunderstandingofmodernarchitecture

andagoodknowledgeoftraditions.Throughsuchabalance,hehad

createdanewtypeofChinesearchitecture,saidTadaoAndo,thewinner

ofthe1995PritzkerPrize.

Wangbelievestraditionsshouldnotbesealedinglassboxesat

museums."Thatisonlyevidencethattraditionsonceexisted,"hesaid.

"ManyChinesepeoplehaveamisunderstandingoftraditions.They

thinktraditionmeansoldthingsfromthepast.Infact,traditionalsorefers

tothethingsthathavebeendevelopingandthatarestillbeingcreated,"

hesaid.

"Today,manyChinesepeoplearelearningWesternstylesand

Languageshavebeencomingandgoingforthousandsofyears,but

inrecenttimestherehasbeenlesscomingandalotmoregoing.When

thetheworldwasstillpopulatedbyhunter-gatherers,small,tightlyknit

Afteryearsofheateddebate,graywolveswerereintroducedto

YellowstoneNationalPark.FourteenwolveswerecaughtinCanadaand
