mouth

30,1659.His

companions

all

die,save

himself,and

three

animals-the

captain's

dogand

twocats.Yearslater,Crusoesaveaprisoner,naminghis

new

companion

"Friday"after

the

day

of

the

week

he

appeared.Crusoe

then

teaches

himEnglish

and

converts

him

to

Christianity.After

another

partyof

natives

arrivestheymanagetokillmostof

thenatives

and

savetwo

of

theprispners-Fridag'sfatherandtheother-aSpaniard…To
