Module 1 Teenage lifeUnit 4 Do it yourself 教材分析本課是教材Module 1 Unit 4的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)。本單元的語(yǔ)言功能項(xiàng)目是To make up a dialogue according to DIY. 主要話題是To talk about how to do it yourself, 本課內(nèi)容貼近學(xué)生的生活和學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)際,為學(xué)生操練對(duì)話創(chuàng)設(shè)了一個(gè)真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言情景,有利于學(xué)生在比較接近實(shí)際的情景中聽聽說(shuō)說(shuō),從而培養(yǎng)他們運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際的能力。 教學(xué)目標(biāo)【知識(shí)目標(biāo)】1. Revise the daily tools.2. To make up a dialogue according to DIY.3. To talk about how to do it yourself.【能力目標(biāo)】To use knowledge presented in written text to infer general meaning and context.【情感目標(biāo)】利用多種游戲或活動(dòng)形式培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的濃厚興趣。 教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)【教學(xué)重點(diǎn)】To use adjectives to describe feelings and opinions.【教學(xué)難點(diǎn)】通過(guò)閱讀活動(dòng),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀抓住關(guān)鍵信息,了解故事大意,通過(guò)角色扮演,讓學(xué)生鞏固和運(yùn)用本單元所學(xué)核心詞匯和句型。 課前準(zhǔn)備Tape recorder, Multimedia. 教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1. Lead-in1. Create an interest in the issue of sharing the limited natural resources. Depending on the general interest of the class, choose one of the following situations: A group of students are stranded on an island. There is not enough food available for everyone to survive. 2. Make a list of people involved in the situation, a list of the resources available and a list of how long everyone is able to survive. 3. Students study the pictures and read the conversation first on their own, then in pairs.Step 2. Listen and read1. T: Now, lets listen to Hobo and Eddie twice. After you listen to them, please answer my questions, Is Eddie willing to share the food with Hobo? (Help the students to answer No.)2. T: I want to know Hobo and Eddie better. Listen again, then read the article by yourselves. Do some True or False exercises. Check the answers.(1) The food is very tasty.(2) Hobo can live without food. (3) Eddie often takes care of Hobo. (4) There is enough food for Hobo and Eddie. 3. Now please pay more attention to these two sentences.(1) If you eat my food, I wont talk to you. (2) If I dont have food, I die.Step 3. DescribingIn the story Hobo and Eddie need enough food but there isnt, so they are poor. The word “poor” can describe an animal, can you find some other words to describe an animal? Now lets play a game “Bingo”!1. It has a long, soft tail and lives in the trees. It can climb trees quickly.2. It is the biggest animals on land. It can lift heavy things.3. It looks like a large fish in warm sea. You can watch them jump in the zoo.4. Its like a bear, but it has black and white fur.5. It lives in Australia and it has a long strong tail and has strong legs. There is a useful bag for its baby.6. It looks like a cat and has yellow fur and black stripes.7. Its large and heavy with thick(厚)fur. It is very strong.8. It has no legs. Some of them are poisonous enough to kill people.9. We can get meat from them. It likes sleeping very much.10. Its small. It is afraid of cats because cats like eating them for a nice meal.11. It is very clever. Its favorite food is banana.12. Its a useful animal for people. When the stranger comes, itll bark.Step 4. Presentation1. How to make a fruit salad?2. Discuss in groups.T: Amy wants to make a fruit salad. Shes asking Suzy for some tips.
