1、直接引語與間接引語面面觀(二) 上一單元我們講了當(dāng)直接引語是陳述句、特殊疑問句、反意疑問句及一般疑問句時與間接引語轉(zhuǎn)換的方法,這一單元我們來看看當(dāng)直接引語是祈使句及感嘆句時轉(zhuǎn)換成間接引語的規(guī)律。【例句展示】 仔細(xì)觀察下列三組句子,注意祈使句的變化。1. “pay attention to english grammar in your article,” the teacher said. the teacher told the students to pay attention to english grammar in their article. 2. “dont make any n
2、oise while i am at work,” mom said to us. mom told us not to make any noise while she was at work.3. “dont open the letter,” he said. he said that i wasnt to open the letter.【自我歸納】 觀察以上三組例句,我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)祈使句變?yōu)殚g接引語時,除了有人稱的變化外,句式上也發(fā)生了變化。 多使用一個不定式,有時也可使用一個_。 前面的謂語動詞根據(jù)語氣來決定。常見的引用動詞為tell / order / desire / beg /
3、 ask / request/ demand等,后常接sb. (not) to do sth.。【特別提示】1. 當(dāng)直接引語是祈使句時,轉(zhuǎn)換為間接引語時,除了上文提到的含有祈使意義的動詞tell, ask等之外,還經(jīng)常用到command, warn, advise, suggest, insist等動詞。2. 有些表示建議的祈使句,變成間接引語時一般用suggest doing / suggest that sb. (should) do . 或advise sb. to do / advise that sb. (should) do .。如:“l(fā)ets go camping this we
4、ekend,” tom said to us.tom suggested (us) _ that weekend.tom suggested that _ that weekend.【例句展示】 仔細(xì)觀察下列三組句子,注意感嘆句的變化。1. he said, “oh, what a pity it is!” he cried out what a pity it was.2. he says to us, “what bad weather it is!” he tells us what bad weather it is.3. mary said, “how excited i am!”
5、mary said that she was very excited.【歸納總結(jié)】 感嘆句從直接引語變?yōu)殚g接引語時,要注意: 適當(dāng)改動引用動詞,可以使用what和how作連詞,語序不變;也可使用that引導(dǎo),將句子變成相應(yīng)的賓語從句。 如果直接引語中的謂語動詞是一般現(xiàn)在時、現(xiàn)在完成時或?qū)頃r,變成間接引語時,時態(tài)無需變化。(這一點(diǎn)同樣適用于陳述句和疑問句。) 直接引語與間接引語之間的轉(zhuǎn)換規(guī)律繁多,但同學(xué)們要記?。赫Z言是活生生的,在平時的學(xué)習(xí)中要靈活掌握并使用這些規(guī)則。【即學(xué)即練】 將下列直接引語變?yōu)殚g接引語。1. “speak english more often than just in
