12、與 which, who, whom 的用法區(qū)別:4 情況用法說明例句只用that 的情況先 行 詞 為all, everything, anything, nothing, little, much, 等不定代詞時。先行詞被all, any, every, each, much, little, no, some, few 等修飾時先行詞有形容詞最高級和序數(shù)詞修飾時先行詞既指人又指物時先行詞被the only, the very 修飾時句中已經(jīng)有who 或 which 時,為了避免重復時1.he told me everything that he knows. 2.all the book
13、s that you offered has been given out. 3.this is the best film that i have ever read. 4.we talked about the persons and things that we remembered. 5.he is the only man that i want to see. 6.who is the man that is making a speech? 只用which, who, whom 的情況在非限制性定語從句中,只能用 which指代物,用who/whom 指人在由 “ 介詞 +關(guān)系代
14、詞 ” 引導的定語從句中,只能用 which 指物,whom 指人。先行詞本身是that時, 關(guān)系詞用 which, 先行詞為those, one, he時多用 who。he has a son, who has gone abroad for further study. i like the person to whom the teacher is talking. those who respect others are usually respected by others. iii. as 與 which 的區(qū)別:定語從句區(qū)別例句限制性 定 語從句中名詞前有such 和 the s

17、, whom he loved deeply, died ten years ago. 定語從句運用中的注意點1、定語從句與強調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)的區(qū)別(1)it was in this house _ he was born. (2)it was this house _ he was born. (3)it was in the house _ he used to live that the exhibition was held. a. where b. that c. which d. there 判斷是否是強調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)的方法是去掉it is /was that, 若整個句子結(jié)構(gòu)和意義不受影響,則為強
18、調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu),否則為定語從句。2、定語從句與其他從句的區(qū)別(1)定語從句與地點狀語從句的區(qū)別是看有無表示地點的名詞作先行詞,有則是定語從句,試比較:you should leave the toy where you can find. i still remember the bus stop where / at which i met you. (2)定語從句與結(jié)果狀語從句的區(qū)別是看從句的邊接詞是否在從句中作成分,作成分的是定語從句;若連接詞在句中不作成分時,則為結(jié)果狀語從句。試比較:6 he is such a kind person as everybody likes. he is su

(3)定語從句與同位語從句的區(qū)別主要是看連接詞是否在從句中作成分,作成分的是定語從句,不作成分而只是表示前面名詞的具體內(nèi)容的則是同位語從句。試比較:the news that he had been back surprised us all. the mews (that) he told us surprised us all. 3、way 后面的定語從句(用that/ in which 或省略):please tell me the way (that/ in which) you did the jo
